This has a very light but pleasant scent. I have used it for several days and find it soothing. Since my skin is very dry, the way I use it is to pump twice into my palm, then add a few drops of oil and blend (it blends in easily) and then apply to my moist-from-the-shower face. It has organic ingredients but it does have a long list of ingredients, longer than I like to see in products. Some seem a little dubious to me but seem to be present in very small quantities. The cream works well for me.

I recently moved to a drier/colder climate from where I had been living (tropical, humid weather), and I have found this product to be effective for dry skin in the cooler months. I love the smell and it works great at keeping my skin calm and moisturized. I have been using this product along with the 3-in-1 gel for acne as well as the antioxidant cleanser, and I truly have noticed a change in my skin for the better. Cicamed 24h Cream Balance doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. However, it doesn't moisturize as well as other products I use. Right now my skin is parched from dry winter skin but I do believe this work well for me in the summer months. Still, the cream contains ingredients that can soothe skin and reduce redness and I found that it does so for me. My skin does feel and look better. The consistency of the cream makes it perfect for morning and evenings. My makeup goes on smoothly after using this cream.

The cream is quite light and easy to apply and it absorbs well. It feels nice on the skin. No irritation or redness. But I really dislike the scent. The main scent is the oatmeal, but it is somehow unpleasant, unlike other products that use it. And the smell lingers for quite a long time. It is really unpleasant.
