Snug Kids Ear Defenders - Noise Cancelling Headphones Protectors for Children, Toddlers and Baby

Last Friday, the director of the nursery school met me at the door at pick up time. My child goes to nursery school two mornings a week, for 2.5 hours each morning. We are in the midst of a special education evaluation, we're all doing our best to work for what is best for my child, but clearly the director was upset and wanted me to get my child's appointment with the pediatric neurologist. I have another child who has hypersensitive hearing, so when we got home, I ordered the ear defenders. Today I attended nursery school with my child, and I asked a friend who is a nurse to come in and observe. We noted that when it was "carpet time", my child would wiggle away from the rest, and move away as far as she could get until returned to the carpet by the teacher's aide. My friend had me hold back for a bit and then indicated to me to try the ear defenders. Once they were on my child, she was more comfortable, and waded right in to the activity, taking part in it and clearly having fun. It is a noisy classroom, with 10 kids, and very loud-voiced teacher. The only problem we noted was that several of the other kids want a pair of ear defenders, too!

My 7 year old has Dyspraxia and is very sensitive to noise. Not just loud noise but noise period. For years I did not understand what was going on. I just knew she needed headphones as she is very prone to noise. I bought them and they are a life saver. I know longer feel bad for her when we're out and a baby cries or if we are at Disney the fireworks won't be too loud for her. I wish I wouldve thought to buy these sooner. Theyre comfortable and they came in her favorite color pink! Great fot for kids. I even tried them on and they were very comfortable. Update: We used them this weekend at Disney World and she did not want to take them off! They worked like a gem. I am just so sorry I didn't know about these when she was a lot younger!
