Q: We have the previous edition. Why should I spend another $80 for this one? Is it more or less the exact same game?

You definitely shouldn’t spend $80, that’s well over MSRP. But this new version has new haunts, streamlined rules, and improved components. If you’ve played through all of the other edition, or have a copy getting ragged, this would be a good way to continue the Betrayal fun.

Q: Is this compatible with the Widow's Walk expansion?

Widow's walk expansion was designed for second edition. You might be able to make it work but I would say that it is not compatible.

Q: if hero attacks a stuned monster, can the monster defends?

No, they cannot. The attacker will get some bonus on "to Hit" rolls and the stunned creature will automatically fail strength, and dexterity saving throws. Depends on how many rounds the creature is stunned as well.

Q: Do the event, item cards and omens change as well with this edition?

I have played it only a few times so far, but as far as I can tell it is a total revamp with the same mechanics.
