Great grill
When I bought my boat it came with the most popular boat bbq, I hated that grill, it was on or off, nothing in between. This grill has great adjustment and works good, I can finally bbq something other than hamburgers or steak. It was tricky comming up with a mount but I feel it was worth the effort.

Does what it needs
Fast set up, fast to heat up and it isn't too heavy. The only downside is that the temp control isn't the greatest. Pretty much just high temp.

Great Grill, not a 20 minute set up…
This is a surprisingly great product in its ease of use, quality of materials, and nice extras like a visible temperature gauge prominently mounted on the cover. The ignition does not work consistently, but a a long probe lighter is always near by. My biggest gripe is with the product identification extra large sticker placed on the top of the grill. It can’t be left on because it would make a complete mess of the whole thing. It took my wife and me a good 25 minutes to get it off. Smoke Hollow has their head up their ass on sticker materials, glue thresholds, and where to put their stickers. Now that I vented, I want to close by saying that they make an awesome grill and that it’s an incredible value. They should lose the stickers

Grill is ok... Customer Service is Horrendous!
UPDATE... I received an email 2-3 days later - they apologized and asked my for the MODEL#!!! You know... the MODEL# that I had to take a picture and upload to them. The MODEL# that I had to give the Customer Service Andoid Bot! The Model# that was on the Invoice I had to Upload. Are they serious? If not for Amazon Customer Service... the simple problem of missing screws would have been a total nightmare. Masterbuilt Customer Service has NO Phone Number or email address. You have to fill out a form that requires pictures of your invoice, receipt, and your problem. Does anyone know how to take a picture of something that is Not There? I wrote "missing hardware pack that holds screws and washers" on a piece of paper and took a picture. I could not send the form without that picture. I then tried customer service chat, or should I say a BOT that makes you give all of your information again, just to tell you that someone will email you. Then you get an email that states that a Rep will call you in the next 5 days. I went to the Return/Replace screen on Amazon where I was told to deal with Customer Service with the Manufacturer. I already had and will not continue to do so... I will have is replacement from Amazon before their CS even contacts me. I cannot give any Company or product, with such an irresponsible Customer Service Department, more than a 1-Star. Sorry, I will update this review when I can actually try the grill. But they will keep the 1-Star! They earned it!

Very durable and we'll constructed
I have used this grill approximately 30 times now, and it's been more than great. The constitution is solid, it's lightweight, it gets hot very quickly, the temp control works flawlessly, and the heat distribution is very thorough. I'm very excited to plop it into the hatchback and take it on a weekend camping trip. Oh, and it cools down quite rapidly, so it can be stowed away within 15 minutes. The ONLY drawback I'm aware of is the ignitor. It is useless, and I do not recommend using it unless you enjoy burning the hair off your arms. Fortunately, there's a hole in the lower left hand side that allows you to stick a torch lighter in and ignite the grill that way. I think that's a very small flaw for such a great product. I am actually considering buying another in case this model is ever discontinued. Can't beat the price!

Not up to Masterbuilt quality
We so wanted to love this little grill. We purchased as a replacement for a 10 year old WeberQ100. We have a wonderful, sturdy Masterbuilt smoker and figured this would be great. It is just 24 hours old, and it is sitting in a return to Amazon box. From the get-go, the grill is rather flimsy -- not what we were looking for with a small patio grill that is used frequently. (Although, this would probably be a great grill for tailgating or camping!) When putting the grill together and tightening up the igniter, my husband was shocked -- yes, literally electrically shocked !! We chalked it up to the igniter not being seated tightly with the grill body -- and once this was done, there were no shocks.Thank goodness we had the propane adapter and were able to get the grill up and running. We decided to grill two hamburger patties. Of note, there is a large air gap at the back of the grill...it gets hot and smoky. The grill worked great for actual grilling, but what a mess inside! And for just two hamburgers. The flame protector is only about an inch and a half to two inches from the grates - which means grease just builds up and burns. One good thing - this grill cools down very quickly after cooking -- which would be great for tailgating or camping. The under side of the lid became extremely discolored after grilling (yes, we did heat the grill to burn off any 'packing' residue), looking as if we had been cooking on it for months. The grill 'pan' under the burner was a perfect catch-all for grease, burned grease and also looked as if we had been cooking on it for months! We are conscientious Amazon customers and knew we were going to return this product so wanted to clean it up a bit before returning... Nope, no way. Being stainless steel, we didn't want to use anything that might scratch the finish, but we worked on the clean up for at least an hour...Still stained and burned. When my husband went to pack the grill back up, the igniter fell apart, leaving the wire and brass nut connected to the grill body.I hope that we just got a bad grill from the start...We are returning and will likely purchase another Weber which seems better suited to our needs.
