Arrived new, no scratches or wear like some reviews of other knives. The blade is really impressive in size, the and is just about skip proof, but the main selling point for me was the hand guard. Anyone who has seriously studied the art of the knife knows that they work best when you have a place to put your thumb on, as well as protection from your hand sliding up and slicing your own self open on your hand. Not to mention adequate protection of your fingers. My father gave me a WWII applegate-fairbairne, which I put in a box somewhere. I believe it is easily one of the greatest combat knives ever made. But buying an updated version is out of my price range (I really need to find mine, it even has the original hard case sheath.)This knife comes with a sharpener of and fire starter which fit neatly in the sheath, though I don't see myself lost in a forrest anytime soon.The sheath appears sturdy, but over time that's the first thing to fall apart. It is hunter camo and I wish it was flat black like the knife. But at this price beggars can't be choosers. Aside from my katana sword, this blade sits right next to my bed in case the wrong person enters my home.Compare and contrast and consider what you can and can't afford. For a single man on a low income it's a great investment.

I like this knife a lot, it didn't cost much, it's very sharp and it arrived in great condition, it's not overly heavy but seems well made for what it is, I like the feel of the handle that fits my hand very comfortably, I liked it so much this is the second one that I've bought and when I get the money I may buy 3 more to give as Christmas gifts for a couple of the guys in the family.Don't expect it to be as good quality as a $300.00 plus knife, I tend to shy away from using a $300.00 knife for chopping wood or weeds anyway and I personally think that I'll get much more use out of it for what I paid for it, that's part of the reason that I bought two of them for myself.

I bought this knife because it looked cool and it was on sale. Little did I know when I opened the box Rambo jumped out 😂. This knife is sick. Heavy Duty and when Sharpened is incredibly useful..Has a sharpener and a Flint fire starter I mean you gotta buy on. I got the camo one because it was on sale For $20 when it's Other Black one was $50. And no differences. Same knife just different color. Way way worth the money. Even full price

This blade is just what the Caveman enjoys!! Large, Dark, not too Sharp, and Affordable!!A blade to be reckoned with, at the right Price!! Position of the Sharpener and Ferro Rod, should be on the outside of Sheath, not inside toward the Body!!

This knife is a heavy duty knife that is easy to work with. It is thick enough for tough jobs and you can get the blade razor sharp which reminds me the sheath is very nice and necessary for carrying. The sheath has pouches where the shrpening tools fit.

Build exactly for the occasion. Verp sharp and buildt stronger. Saw is very well buit as well. Will do a follow up on the sharpener and fire starter when i use themVery place with this product.
