The Power to Shape Your Destiny: Seven Strategies for Massive Results Audio CD – Unabridged, February 7, 2012

I knew Tony Robbins was a "gimmick" salesman. I have watched his "schtick" for 20 years and have avoided him any way possible. However. After listening to these CD's, I understand now why and how he has become who he is: he truly believes and practices what he preaches. He genuinely wants to help people. It was evident on these CD's and now I want to hear more. I want to attend his seminars and, it makes me want to help people even more than I do everyday. I listened to these in my car during hour long commutes, sometimes 3, 4 or 5 times to fully get the messages. The next step is to actually write down the teachings and see how I can manifest even more than what I have created already. Best investment I have made in 20 years has been in myself.-Dr. B

With as many self-empowerment books as I read or listen to as an audiobook, it's a wonder it took so long for me to discover Tony Robbins. Now that I've finally arrived, I'm a huge fan! What really stood out to me in this latest audiobook was the idea that while trying to achieve a goal, most humans tend to just try one or two things and then give up if it doesn't work out. Robbins points out that anything can be achieved if someone had a compelling reason to make it happen. Once a person decides they must achieve their goal rather than they should do it, success if on the way.I'm in the process of working on one of those goals which most people think is nuts. Robbins would disagree. He points out that anything is possible if there is a will to make it happen. After listening to The Power to Shape Your Destiny, I decided the next time I get “stuck,” I'll write up a list of all the things I haven't tried and see where that gets me.One of the things I like most about Robbins is that he is a no-nonsense, straight-shooter. I've been a big Tony Robbins fan since I read his first book when it was released. He has raised the bar when it comes to helping people make big changes fast. I love that I got a new look at the man and what he's experienced in his own life. I also got some new things to work on and they are already making a positive difference. I know he's not for everyone. But if you like him at all, this cd series is a great investment in yourself.

I've always loved Tony Robbins and his dynamic way of getting one to get motivated but this CD made laugh at times and I carry it in my car to listen to it over and over. There was a specific one, I think CD # 3 that makes me want to listen to it over and over and over because the message about taking calculated risks is so powerful and convincing. If you feel you need an extra pep talk before you take that next step in your career or in your life, listen to these CDs with an open mind. I really loved listening to Tony again.

This was better than going to his seminar because you can stop where you need the most help and work on that area till you're comfortable with it. Much of the info supports his Unleash the Power programs, but this is like the icing on the cake, inspiring me to use his teachings at a higher level.Recommend this for anyone wanting to succeed in any area of life! Really apply these principles, and you'll surprise yourself on how much your life changes for the amazing.

I wanted to know more about his techniques, and while the info seems reasonable, I didn't like much of what I've read from other folks - seems too new-age and rather cultlike.

I am always trying to better my best. Tony is great at inspiring and motivating people. He provides tools to help you make the first steps toward reaching your goals. The work is completely up to you and how well you do it determines the outcome, which is a good thing. I listen to him in the car on my way to work. I feel ready to be productive and successful at whatever I need to accomplish that day.
