Got our fencer back up and running
This battery was partially charged when we got it. Hooked it up to the solar fencer and it worked great. The last battery lasted 6 years, so I'm hoping this one lasts just as long.

WASTE OF MONEY. DEAD IN 2 MONTHS!
Never, ever again! I will buy directly from Parmak. My first charger directly from Parmak lasted over 5 years. This one just over 2 months! Stopped recharging using the solar after 1.5 months...now completely DEAD! Of course they don't take returns. Don't waste your money with this company!

Works perfectly
This is the third battery in my Parmak solar energizer in 8 years. My old battery wouldn’t hold a charge anymore and I was afraid that the fencer itself had finally given up but the new battery brought it back to life.

As described, but should be packaged differently
This item is as described, but it was a bit tacky that the seller had purchased through another Amazon seller within the US and then put the unopened box into another Amazon box, which was shipped to us in Canada. The original receipt was still in the first box so we know we paid $90 more for this than the seller did.I get that everyone needs to make a profit and have no problem with this - but at least make the effort to repackage it and remove the original receipt.
