Alternative Title: Best Practices for Titanium Mobile App Development
This book is probably better suited to someone who already has some Titanium development under their belt but don't be put off by that, once you have mastered the basics this book should be compulsory reading. Some great recipes for including in Titanium Apps but the real bonus is how well they're all structured. If you're about to start a professional Titanium dev project, read this book first (I wish I had). The section on Cross-platform development alone will save you hours of pain. As in my review title, this could almost be considered a Best Practices guide for Titanium mobile app development.

Great book for fast learning
This book is great for developers who want to learn fast. But some basic understanding of Titanium framework is required. The book gives solutions for common problems you would face during development of various applications. It does this by using the best design patterns for development of Titanium based apps. However I miss that this book doesn't talk about Alloy (MVC) framework. But this is not an issue because these recipes can be easily integrated into an Alloy project. Finally I recommend this book for developers who are looking for solutions for common problems. It is also good for learning by example.

Good content, extensive titanium features demonstrated.
This book provides a good foundation and explanation to handle practically any kind of mobile application. It covers sensors, GPS, camera, webservices, social networks, databases, etc. It's a great reference book to anyone interesting to develop mobile applications in Titanium. However, you must be aware of typical outdated references or libraries as versions mentioned in the book have been updated. You'll have to research a little bit for further information when testing sample apps.
