My 10 year old really likes the format of the activities of the vocabulary book. My child is able to go through with minimal assistance. As a parent I really like the format & lessons of the workbook.

This is a really good source to get students started on high level words. I use this with my students in 5th grade who are at a 5th grade reading level.

This book is awesome! It's a very easy-to-read book with guided lessons focused on word type or group and includes wordlists and practice lessons. Each lesson first begins with words and parts of speech, definition, sample sentence, and vocabulary tip at the bottom of each page. Strongly recommend this essential tool to build or enhance reading and vocabulary skills for a forth or fifth grader or middle-schooler.

I like how the book is set up. It gives you the word, the definition, the synonyms, the antonyms, homographs, puzzles, and then how to use it in a sentence. For me this is a must have for teaching at home. My daughter is finally remembering more words and using them correctly.
