Grandson was elated.
My 6 year old gs had a birthday end of November so inside toys required to keep this guy busy. He already rides a dirt bike yamaha 50,started at 4 with trainers. They came off at 5. He loves his track. I need to find him harley Davidson that run on it he says. I am holding my first harley I bought new for his 16th as long as he isn't a tool or bully and gets high a or high b occasionally. He's da man's man already and said home run pepe with his track. BTW I think he found a way to shot bearings down it with his weak spring loaded gun. He's a mess. I love it.

Good Toy - lots of pieces
This is great for any kid that loves hot wheels cars however, of course like many of these items it does come in a lot of pieces. Sometimes the track is a little bit flimsy, but didn’t make it a bad quality for any kid to play with and enjoy just a pain for parents to have to put away in store but that’s the name of the game.

A little tough to set up but fun
Great for my 8 yr old son. He needed a fair amount of help.

Needs Improvements
Love Hot Wheels not this track system could use improvement. Rubber-band driven accelerators barely ever keep the cars on the track. Electric Accelerator does the same. Tracks are reconfigurable in many ways... so huge plus there. Track lips get too thin in many areas ruinimg the flow of the cars and sending them off track. Price is good but wish there was a premium version with all concerns rectified for a higher price even. Did anyone at Hot Wheels actually beta test it? No way. Oh well.

We love it
If your having trouble getting the cars to run, try turning the track over. My husband and son put this together and couldn't get it working. I came along and flipped a couple if the tracks and good to go.

Slightly loud, but very fun
Lots of pieces but building it is half the fun, right? It was given as a Christmas gift and the little one loved it. The battery powered mechanism is slightly loud and can overpower the TV. We ended up buying the expansion pack for this set as well.

Great Value Hot Wheels Starter Set
I bought one of these a while ago for my boys (4 and 6). It is a great value Hot Wheels starter set... containing 2 launchers, a loop, 2 bends and quite a few pieces of straight track. The track, and particularly the connectors are very sturdy so you don't get any bending at the joints like you did with older track. The only thing that's missing, in my opinion, is a gravity clamp, which used to be a feature of old Hot Wheels sets. There are a couple of downsides... the first being that you only get 1 car in the set... the second being that the connectors are a new format and therefore not compatible with older Hot Wheels track... The new track can be used with old track using the old connectors though. Edit - I discovered that if you turn the new connectors upside down, they work with the old track... and they are far more sturdy than the old ones!Overall an excellent introduction to Hot Wheels, or as an addition to your kids collection.

Grandchildren Love It. I Love It
Love it because my grandchildren just get so much fun from it. At 50 watching two little children take such joy from a simple thing is wonderful and of course takes me back to my youth when these things were big news back in the early 70's.In reality its not made to last but there is something timeless about letting cars scoot down a track and jump off the end. The bibs have their favourite cars for each task and it's all serious stuff. I have the fastest one because of course because I don't play fair and lubricate the wheel shafts....There is a kind of launch thing that you put your car into and then press and release. This can also be set up to go off automatically if you configure the track right. The grandkids don't bother with it too much. They - like me 40 years ago like putting one track up high and letting cars shoot down it from different heights. For that you will also need to buy a clamp so add another tenner to your budget.Overall a simple toy that in these days of computers and tablets is still as fascinating for small children as it ever was.

Looks who's the best dad EVER!
Once you've got the batteries and it is big ones, this is the most amazing kit to build with. It was fun for young and old alike - and the car provided with it (only one, you really need two) was so fast. It was versatile too, so the track could be built to provide different experiences. Hot wheels is a hit it with our family, and the track does link well with the other sets.

Great fun on its own or as part of larger sets.
I could play with this all day, but sadly I bought it for my boys who insist on the track being changed ever ten minutes. Because of this I still dont know which of the hotwheels batmobiles is the fastest around the loop circuit! The change hotwheels have made to the power is good, it allows more flexibility with your track design. I would like to see a version I can plug into the wall though as although good quality batteries do last a long time with this, they dont last forever.

not bad product
Really a fun toy. Good addition to other hotwheels tracks. The loops have little boosters to help the cars get up and around. The motor is incredibly noisy it sounds like a lawn mower. Over all not bad product.
