Well it's a box of pens. The box is actually smaller than I expected but that was a good thing for me. Didn't look forward to it taking up too much space home. In the box are smaller boxes of pens though, it comes in a set of 36 pens per box, so there were 4 small boxes of pens in the larger box. As for the pen itself, well it writes very smoothly, it feels light but not flimsy. The ink does not smudge, oh and the pen began writing from the first stroke. There was no scratching on a paper to get it to work, it worked from the start. The case/barrel of the pen is a translucent blue. Overall I am pleased with this purchase, the price was right, the pen works very good, it is built firm ( I wouldn't say solid) not flimsy and even though I use a lot of pens, I have pens for quite a while for both me and my son. When this set finish, I could see myself buying it again. Well done Bic Corporation and Amazon too and thank you :)

Solid, classic pens.

These Bic Stick pens are reliable and last a long time. I usually lose them before they are dry. I send these in zippered pencil bags for Operation Christmas Child Boxes. I send both blue and Black. I buy a lot and have yet to be disappointed.
