Does exactly what it says on the box. Easy to set up as well. Please just check with any building regs. I found out that my building planner insisted on wired detectors, so had to replace these with wired wireless fire angels at 3x price.

I used the product as a direct replacement for three units which were fitted in 2013. It's recommended they are changed after 10 years. Very easy installation.

This product was bought 14 months ago July 23 and on the 19th September 24, alarm kept going off. Every 10 minutes for 10 hours as I could not turn the casing. Neighbours were complaining and tried to help. This product was supposed to be under warranty but cannot get any response from the company.

Easy to fit instructions

So I replaced the identical alarms, which blared out in the middle of the night for some inexplicable reason after only 2 years, because they fitted the plugs in the ceiling. Now these new ones blasted out at 2pm after on 17 months. If there's a fault they might just make a little beep. No need to wake the whole neighbourhood when there isn't an actual fire. Won't be buying these again.

Connectors are useless. Out of 3 units, only one connector has survived and you can't get them easily without buying a new unit. Awful design with tiny prods to connect adapter to that easily break. Do not buy this product.
