Q: Does carpet and furniture take long to dry after use?

The Spotwash will pick up the majority of water. Opening windows or having the heating on will also aid drying time. Hope this helps.

Not used on a mattress but after cleaning my sofa I imagine it would work

On my wool rug it is left pretty dry but not completely, the vax sucks up the dirty water and seems really powerful so it doesn’t leave it sopping wet, just a bit damp. You can keep running it over to pull up maximum water too

Q: Will it clean old stains on carpets?

I guess it depends what they are stains of, and what your carpet is made from. Some things will soak into the fibre of your carpet and essentially dye the fibres to another colour, some things will just be grime that stick onto the fibres that can be washed off . Id say if anything is going to work the vax spot wash will, my car seats after years of muddy wet dog all over them were transformed, red wine on my sons cream natural fibre carpet not quite as successful ( the stain had been left not cleaned straight away and I guess that also taught him how impractical cream carpets are ! )
