Fits my Europiccola 51mm basket perfectly.If I don’t use a funnel like this and mix the coffee with a WDT technique, I get channeling down the puck.I was trying to get by and save money with a cut out yogurt cup, but ultimately this is so much better. It’s solid. Fits well. Easily to use and clean. Perfect. The yogurt cup was not heavy or solid enough. Very happy.

I highly recommend this product. I've been making espresso at home for over 15 yrs., upgraded equipment several times (commercial grade espresso machines and grinders), use only quality, custom roasted beans and, worked continuously to improve my skills. All my machines have been Italian and have used either 53mm or 58mm portafilters. I am currently using a La Spaziale Vivaldi with 53mm. The 53mm lets you make single shots which you cannot do with a 58mm. As I have improved my results (varying pressure and flow during the extraction), the process had become tedious including work-arounds to prevent fine coffee grounds spraying around the counter during grinding, to de-clumping and leveling. This ring has simplified, quickened and made more efficient several steps. In my opinion, you can ignore the complaints about the ring sitting inside rather than outside the filter basket which prevents tamping with the ring in place. Here is the process: 1) place basket with installed ring on scale, 2) tare (zero) the scale, 3) grind desired dose into basket, 4) stir with wire de-clump/distribution tool to even grinds, 5) tap basket with ring in place, on countertop several times to settle grinds, 6) remove ring and 7) tamp. All these steps happen very quickly and easily. No more sprayed ground beans and quick de-clumping and leveling. You will enjoy using this product.

Exactly what I was looking for. It has the weight of steel and after a lot of usage it shines like it has never been used. I use it for a profitec 58mm portofilter.

This is better than expected! Weight is good, size too. However, it won't fit my grinder with the porta filter holder in, I have to remove it in order to grind directly into the filter and hold the funnel with my other hand. For home use, I find it great.

I purchased this to use with my Gaggia Classic’s portafilter, 58 mm, and it fits perfectly. The filter is stainless and is beautifully finished and has a very solid feel to the hand with a good substantial weight and plenty of height.It does what it is supposed to do for me, which is keep the fresh grounds in the portafilter from spilling when I remove it from my grinder and distribute them with my wire distribution tool.However, this particular funnel does not havemagnets installed along the bottom of the ring like some, and that means it can easily be dislodged from the rim of the portafilter basket. While this is not a huge issue, the magnets offer a better experience as it keeps the funnel in place. This one sits a bit loosely on the basket.In summary, a magnetic mount is a very nice feature that this funnel does not have, and I personally desire, but is otherwise an excellent product.

Unfortunately this item did not fit my new espresso machine, however the item itself is great! If I could, I’d keep it. This will not fit the Breville Touch Barista.

Works as described. Pretty heavy and solid ring that seats firmly to portafilter. I always had grinds spill over behind my portafilter . No more wasted coffee grinds.
