I love these Socks!
Heck, who knew you could actually love wearing socks again?Dress socks aside, I’ve been wearing nothing but Cotton and Cotton-Poly socks for decades. When I was a little boy I always groaned inside whenever I got white tube socks at Christmas because it never felt like a present to get something that was just a boring cheap necessity. So it’s been a delight to discover how good these Wool blend socks can look and feel. Nice and thick and warm without being TOO thick and warm. They feel so good I’ve actually worn them multiple days in a row which I would never even THINK of doing with my cotton socks which get a bit stinky after just a few miles of normal walking around in them.So yes wool is more resistant to foot odor than cotton is — but you’ll want to air them out after wearing them of course. So far I’ve only washed these by hand but might try machine washing them at some point.Oh and they actually conform to the shape of your foot in a way that cotton socks don’t — at least that’s been my experience. Maybe just because I’ve never worn cotton socks two days in a row though.I can only compare these to one other kind of wool socks right now which are the SmartWool socks. I got a pair of those which were only a few dollar less ($22 I think) and they do look great in teal blue but they’re also thinner than these and they don’t feel as good and I don’t see them lasting as long. The only minor downsides (which I would say is just because they’re Wool):They take a LONG time to air dry. So you’ll need more than 1 pair — but you WILL want more!Dog hair does seem to stick to these more easily than it does to cotton. So if you have a dog that sheds and you don’t wear slippers you’ll have to swipe and pull off a few pesky hairs off before putting your shoes on. But hey — you needed to sweep and vacuum more anyway, right? And get some good slippers — I can recommend the ones by Sorel

Keeps my grandsons feet warm while he sells cars in cold weather...pricey, but very good quality. Have bought several times. Will continue to purchase.

expensive but darn good
Negative; expensive.Positives; comfortable, warm but balanced warmth - not too hot. I wouldn't necessarily rely on these for winter evenings without a blanket/boots but they are certainly warm enough. Did a couple of day hikes only so far but instilled enough confidence to pay out for another pair. Don't know how these will do in hot summer hikes yet.
