Second time I've bought a pair of these for two different cars. Works perfect everytime.

These are great! I was able to buy these and take them to a local locksmith. They were then able to make a key out of it, and then I manually programmed the key. Programming is very easy on Chevy Cruze, and you don't even need special tools to program. Just your key. Remote works well. So far the key has held up for a while, and I would say it was worth the money.

Not for a 2014 Chevy Cruze. The depth of where the push button goes in the key blade measures a depth of .150" where as the Cruze has a depth of .130". So the button does not go far enough through the fob to actually work. I had to make it so the key was just always out (key would not fold in). The two fobs received also had completely different springs in them for the push button for the key blade. One was longer than the other and one was not a torsion spring which is required to set the spring to get it to push the button out. All this said, I was able to get the old key into the fob with some issues but reprogram the circuit board with no issues.

The key release button is keyed differently from the original so you cannot directly replace the uncut key with the cut key from your original fob. The programming takes over 30 minutes unless you have had a locksmith cut the blank key on the new fob. When using the key to start the car, the whole fob comes apart; you have to firmly hold the whole fob to prevent this Edit: Fell apart yet again and now I've lost the spring Edit: Moved to the second fob. It too fell apart and again I have lost the spring. I have resorted to a tie wrap around the fob and am now looking at an OEM fob because the spring is missing, this thing flops forward
