I give this book a 4 out of 5 because I was hoping for a little more history on the boot and maybe a little more info on how the boot pertained to the old west. This book had a huge variety of photos and photos that were well taken, but they were mostly very colorful "fancy" boots. If you're looking for some funky looking boots, this is your book

For those of us that hold the cowboy boot in high esteem this is a wonderful volume. Gorgeous photography of amazing art and craft and very entertaining text on everything concerning the field. I particularly enjoyed reading the profiles of the top bootmakers.

Made a super surprise birthday gift for my guy. He was totally blown away! He wanted to know where I found such an incredible book. My answer, "amazon" of course!

"The Art of the Boot" is informative, interesting and fun to read. The photos are outstanding. This is another outstanding book from this duo. I had the good fortune to recently meet Tyler and his lovely wife, Theresa, when they visited our shop. I can honestly state that I have never met a more interesting guy! Anyone interested in wearing, knowing about or just looking at boots will love this great book. AND it looks so cool on the coffee table!

ウエスタンブーツを時々愛用しています。こういう本があるとは知りませんでした。ブーツの写真集ってどんなだろう、カタログのようなものかと、想像していました。由来やメーカ別の説明などしっかり載っていて、デザインや装飾にはほれぼれします。履くより飾った方がいい、まさにアートなブーツの数々、楽しめます。海外にはいろいろなブーツがあるんですね。その世界は深い。かっこいい。どれも高価なので手が出ませんが、どうやってはきこなすのか知りたくなります。自分にはシンプルなので十分。今あるブーツを大事にしていこうと思いました
