I used the product to read to my son and teach him the please and thank you holds value in the world. Thank you for letting me buy the book.

So happy I didn’t let the negative review with photos keep me from buying this book. This book is clever with poems that include teachable lessons: cleaning up after yourself at a friends house when invited over to play, cleanliness, pride in your appearance and hygiene, first impressions matter, and manners are important in everyday life. Our 2 year old already knows to say please and thank you without being told (95% of the time) and this book is a cute way to reinforce politeness, manners, and consideration of others. Some would say it was “old school” and that’s exactly why I bought it.

I've given it as a gift three times now and it's been a huge hit. I don't like "Pamela Pig" (unkind) and generally try to skip it when reading aloud but otherwise the rhymes are cute and helpful.

The stories bounce back and forth between animals that are being “good” versus “troublesome” with their behaviors. I thought this was going to be more of a positive message, rather than shaming the animals that don’t show manners. Would not buy again, as there are other books out there that convey the messages in a more positive approach.

Ordered this for my daughters Easter basket and was happy with the "plot" of the story. As she is currently learning and using new words and phrases every day, we know this book will be invaluable in teaching her the importance of manners and polite phrases. Since young children are a sponge, this is an excellent book for them to soak up. Quality is what you'd expect for a Little Golden Book. Would definitely recommend it.

I thought this was a book that goes in to the many ways to say please and thank you, but it just has random stories on each page. I guess you can kind of decipher that they are about saying please and thank you, but I think thats a stretch for the age group. Other than that, it's ok

For every Golden book we own, this and Tawny Scrawny are the best! The colorful rhymes and adorable characters help both boys and girls grasp concepts of sharing, caring, being aware, and saying "Please and Thank you." My daughter shared many story times ending with The Please and Thank you Book.
