Q: I want to seal a stained kitchen table. Will this scratch? Is it heat resistant? How often do you have to reapply on a table that gets daily use?

I use it on my stained dining table. It works but It is not durable and will scratch. I will use mineral spirit to remove it and re-apply every few months. I'd suggest sticking with a touch urethane coat for a scratch resistant finish.

No, I used it on my table with their black paint underneath and you can see the scratches from sliding things across the table.

You can use on any fusion paint or any brand of what you want to. It's just a top coat. You can tint your clear with a little paint if you want. Especially when covering white(light) or black(dark) colors.
