I ordered the chocolate calf skin! She is a beauty, I absolutely love her! She is the perfect size and thickness! Her hair is very soft, and the colors match well with my needs. There is a tiny imperfection that gives a genuine and unique individuality, and slight creases from packaging. I’m definitely happy with the quality of this product.

The rug is BEAUTIFUL and perfect in my space! It was exactly as described, and the quality seems amazing. I will have to read/research how to take the fold lines out from shipping or how long it takes for them to naturally come out. It's extremely SOFT!! While I'm sure these rugs are best on hard floors, I expect it'll be just fine on our low pile carpet, too. It's light weight. I cannot express enough how much I adore it!On a funny note... I am a Texas girl raised in a community with a high rate of agricultural roots. I'm a conservative, beef-eating, leather loving, gun-toting, president supporting.... etc. I've helped get animals ready to show at fairs and auctions, too. When I opened up my 2'x3' rug (the size I needed), my first reaction was, "Ohhhh!!! Beautiful!!!" My second reaction quickly hit at how small of a cow it had been! Instantly, like a bleeding heart liberal animal rights activist, I felt just AWFUL that an itty bitty baby cow had been slaughtered. It literally broke my heart for a few minutes! ...then I got over it...kind of. 😂😂😂 (Please, I'm not trying to get anyone riled up about political differences, rather tell a funny story about how my feelings resonated with BOTH sides at that moment! If a hard core right winger like me can end up with feelings of empathy like that over a small rug, all of us could probably take a step towards middle ground more often!)

The calfskin is beautiful, a nice cut and as described. I needed a small skin to place under a secretary desk and this fit the bill perfectly. The right rear side is a bit longer than the left but that is not an issue for me, hello, it's a hide, it's not going to be perfectly sized. The hide thickness is not as thick as my large cow hides but this skin is not in a high foot traffic area. The hair side is beautiful, it is not the long, shaggy type of hair, thank goodness. I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend this product. (Delivery was quick and received on promise date, also there was no over-packing of the hide.)

This is absolutely adorable in my bathroom! Easy to clean, I usually just brush it off with the broom or shake it off. Feels very nice underfoot. I do not use it for the shower, I don't know how it would do with the frequent dampness. But, it is great in front of the vanity.

I ordered two goat skin rugs before from this seller and both are excellent and fairly symmetric. This rug is really off, either miss cut or from a deformed animal. It is soft and good leather, but the shape is upsetting and it does not look good flat or draped.
