When I bought this, I didn’t realize that this watch is wound by the motion of your arm, not by a battery. I must not be moving my arm enough, because I have to re-set the time every day. It’s an attractive watch, but I only wore it for a couple weeks. It’s in the drawer until I throw it away. I’d never buy this again.

The watch was delivered very quickly despite my having chosen the "free delivery" option. The watch met all my expectations and was as advertised. I feel that I got my money's worth. My main reason in buying this watch to avoid having a battery of any sort and to avoid the ever-increasing expense of getting watch batteries replaced these days. It is a nice looking watch. The "LUN" day of week showing up on the watch that was mentioned in another review is the French option for the day of week, but there is also an English option that you can select as well. There were no enclosed instructions for this, but you can add/remove links in the wristband by searching online for information as to how to do that, and so I was able to successfully remove two links.

This watch is lovely. Works great. Easy to adjust date, nice movement and the lumens look very nice. The only thing I don't like is how orangey yellow the finish it. I have read Seiko used to have much better gold finish and lately it's been very orange, I can confirm this. If the plating was just a little more yellow it would be perfect. It's just way way too orange. Edit : You can use a product called SILVO to make the watch less orange. I did 2 to 3 applications and it matches my 10kt yellow band perfectly now.
