Works great. I have an Asus Zephyrus G14 and using this cable on the DisplayPort (left side USB-C port) is how you need to use it. No weird artifacts or anything noticeable from the active adapter. See below for one thing I noticed though.IMPORTANT: There does seem to be a small amount of latency though so I'm not sure how well this would work for competitive gamingMy USB-C displayport seems to have some intermittent issues which seem to irritate this adapter but I'm pretty sure its the laptop and not the adapter.I also noticed doing 4k 120hz on HDR that there can be some artifacts on totally black screens. I believe this is due to display stream compression but I'm not sure. Could be the active converter in the cable too doesn't work the best with HDR. Just black screens with other, brighter objects.

Got a pair of these to help complete my WFH setup and let me share my monitors between my personal laptop and work laptop. The cables came in a nicely packaged box, are braided with strong feeling material, and so far have been working great letting me use my QHD displays at 144Hz. I also know that if I ever decide to upgrade to 4K or an ultrawide, I won't have to get new cables.

This is the worst HDMI cable I've ever owned. The screen only stays on for 10-30 seconds at a time, then going black for a few seconds as if it was unplugged for a second and then plugged back in.I was trying to use this cable for a 2020 13" M1 Mac Pro with 8GB memory, and connecting it to a 55" Vizio TV which I've been using as my primary monitor for the past few years.I also noticed when checking the cable connection that the HDMI part of this cable is getting extremely hot after just a few seconds, which I suspect has something to do with why this cable is having issues. I've never had an HDMI cable get hot to the touch.After then checking the reviews here to see if others were having any similar issues I found there are plenty of reviews mentioning this very issue, confirming to me this cable is just junk.I have never seen this kind of issue before with any cables I've owned in the past. And since trying out this cable I have purchased a hub that includes an HDMI output and am connecting my Mac to my Vizio through this hub using a normal HDMI 2.1 cable and have not had any issues.

I tried a lot of cables and adapters to get 5k resolution on my 49” ultrawide monitor from a 2019 MacBook. I could not find a usb c to hdmi 2.1 cable until I found this one. The cable works perfectly for my needs. I only get 60hz at 5k but that’s all I need for work. No signal loss, flicker etc like I had with the various other cable/adapter combos I tried. Before this cable, the combo that kinda worked for my setup was to go from the MacBook usb c > DisplayPort adapter > DisplayPort 1.4 to hdmi 2.1 cable and then to my monitor. Now I have only one cable. It’s a much cleaner and reliable connection.

I have an Macbook M1 Max and a monitor (LG C1 48") that supports 4k @ 120hz (which I use with my gaming desktop at 4k@120hz just fine via HDMI 2.1).However, using this cable, with your M1 Max, you will NOT be able to get 4k at 120hz.You will get 4k at 60hz.I have tried 3 cables now, and it seems the Macbook M1 Max does not support 4k @ 120hz regardless of the cable used. The title of this cable suggested to me that it would work, so I thought I'd try it.You CAN get 2560x1400 at 120hz using this cable (or any standard HDMI 2.0 cable via the built-in HDMI2.0 port on the M1 Max).

This item does exactly what it says it can do. Bought a 4k 120hz tv, and noticed my laptop has an hdmi 2.0 port so I was capped out of gaming mode. I ordered this, and plugged it into my setup. Everything works, and I am able to game 4k 120hz hdr. No screen tearing issues noticed. BO3 zombies were smooth, and had no problem with it either.

I run dual computers; a 2019 MBP for "work" and a Windows PC for gaming. I've been having trouble with not being able to watch aTV on either monitor, I kept getting an HDCP error. When I'd switch A/B channels to play games on widows the monitor wouldn't reload the mac desktop when I switched back. It was a huge PITA.I installed these cables and everything "just works" like it should. Excellent cables!

I love Maxonar HDMI cables they have the best quality and looks! That's why when I got my new Mac Studio I had no issue ordering cables from Maxonar! Well the HDMI cable worked great as usual, but the USB-C to HDMI cable that was a different story. It worked for a few days then it just started having a connection issue. Screen was going in and out non-stop I tried moving to another port and no luck. Now this could work fine for other applications like a PC, but for Mac it seems like it's a no go. Some reviews said that they HDMI connection got to hot but I checked when I was having the issue and it wasn't any hotter then my Displayport to HDMI cables that I had, they got hotter and never had an issue with them. I have found a USB-C to HDMI adapter from another company and I'm using my Maxonar HDMI cable with it and yet to have an issue but only time will tell.

My content source specs: Asus rog laptop with a 3080 (mobile). It has a usb-c display port as output to an external display.Display: S95B Samsung TV that is capable of 120Hz variable refresh rate and HDR10+ all @ 4k.From my laptop to my tv, Windows 11 was able to automatically configure:- 120Hz refresh rate- HDR10+- 4k resolution- Audio to the tvI had no problems getting these features online via this cable. I did have to initially configure my tv and set game mode to “auto” as well as enable “input signal plus” and set HDR+ Gaming from “Off” to “Advanced” on the TV hdmi input port. Windows 11 then did the rest and enabled all supporting features.I’ve tested multiple games with these settings and all of them have looked great, including Gears 5, Borderlands 3 and Halo MCC. None of the display features were dropped or downgraded and signal was not lost during my gaming sessions.Other notes:- There are reports of some cables having input lag - I can confirm that I have 0 input lag with this cable.- There were reports of artifacts on the display, my tv is OLEd and it makes artifacting highly visible - 0 artifacting that I could see on the tv.- Lastly, I saw some reports that the cable is loose and wiggles - the cable I received is tight fitting and pressure on the cable does nothing to the output.The cable worked as advertised.

Tengo un monitor 1440p de 165 Hz, el cual funciona muy bien para jugar casi cualquier tipo de juego, sin embargo específicamente con Hollow Knight no me gustaba como se veía porque los negros de mi monitor no son tan profundos, así que compré este cable para jugar en mi TV OLED de negros perfectos.El cable funciona muy bien, apenas llevo 5 horas de juego, ahora ya puedo jugar Hollow Knight a 4K a 120 Hz con SDR en mi TV OLED y disfrutar de los negros perfectos y la fluidez de jugar a 120 Hz, intenté activar el HDR pero no funciona a 120 Hz, para mi este es un detalle menor.Mi laptop es una Legion 5 con Ryzen 7 y una 1660ti con HDMI 2.0b el cual no puede sacar 4K a 120 Hz, pero con este cable sí es posible obtener 4K, 120 Hz, SDR por el puerto C.

Niestety przewód nie działa tak jak powinien. Testowałem na kilku urządzeniach. Z Macbookiem Air M1 działa w 4k ale maksymalnie 30Hz na telewizorze LG OLED.
