Puerh Tea Cake, Aged Ripe Pu Erh Tea, Chinese Yunnan Puer Tea Cake, 357g/12.6oz(Lotus Aroma)

This tea cake had very few reviews so I decided to try it. It came with a liiiitle bit of edge damage, I just used that for my first serving. First brew came out DARK, I almost couldn't see through the French press. The texture is thicc, with a bold body. Rich earthy warm tones and a touch of fruity on the exhale(can't place what fruit). Not sure what lotus smells/tastes like but it does have a pleasant warm aroma. The product is as described and has a batch tag inside the cake. I haven't done multiple steeps yet, pu-erh gets me going before work and this one did not fall short. It's not the BEST, but it is delicious and 350g of pu-erh is a lot of tea.

Very lovely light shou puerh.I usually prefer my puerhs to have darker earthier flavors, but this one is very pleasant. It’s earthy but light and approachable.
