Well built connectors. Plastic doesn't deform when soldering. They mate well with one another. Never had issues with these connectors failing under load. I look for these type of connectors (XT60, these, ...) from AMASS.

These cost about 50% more than XT60, but I guess that makes sense. I saw these years ago and thought too bulky for a quadcopter (my runs are directly from motor to ESC). However, now that I’m working on scooters and boards, they make a lot more sense. These connectors fit well and look professional. Just remember that, as with the XT60, the 60 amp rating is peak. Their actual rating is 30 amps which is not much if you are trying to run 1600 watt hub motors. Consider XT90 and MR90 for “ride on” applications.

I have tried several XT60 & similar connectors from several different brands, and I can confidently say that the Amass brand ones are my favorite. They are more reliable to plug & unplug, they can take more heat from a soldering iron before they deform, and the little grey insulator piece is a complete game changer. They may cost a bit more than some other alternatives, but it is 100% worth it. I won't buy any other brand ever again.
