This big guy is impressive
When I first saw this release of Sludge I wasn't sure it was worth the cost, these things are expensive! After I got him and saw how big and detailed he is, I was very happy to pay the cost. This is what you always wanted your dinobots to be when you were a kid. Bigger and bulkier than the average Transformer, this guy is formidable. He is not easy to transform though, so I think the target here is more collectors than kids.

Pretty Epic
This dinobot is huge!Love the colors and detail. The dinosaur mode is pretty epic. The accessories are a little lacking, no sword, but with a figure this size I’m willing to let it slide.Standing beside the other dinobots is a thing of nostalgic beauty.

80s kid in full joy now
Let me start by saying that I grew up in the 80’s. I use the phrase “grew up” as a generic description of physical size, not as a statement of maturity. I am a middle age adult and I love Transformers. I really love Transformers When I saw they were bringing back remakes of the 1985 cartoon movie characters, particularly the Dinobots, I was in kid mode all over again. The Dinobots were and still are my favorites for many reasons. Now, with these newer larger figures, I feel like I can recapture what lost when I was young. I truly wished I still had my original Dinobots but those were destroyed in a house fire. Suffice to say that so far I am very pleased with this version Yes, I have the combiner one and the modern movie ones but these are more “raw” with a modern flare to them while maintaining the original stylings. As for the value and gift ability, these are a little high in cost, but they are bigger. As for gift ability, great for those who understand the premise and characters all though I would not recommend for real young people. The pieces are designed to come lose under pressure so that could be a chocking hazard. But I digress, amazing toy and I am anxious for the final two characters to be released. One interesting note, the makers are releasing them in the same order as the G1 cartoons. The last two were not created until a later first season episode. Stay safe everyone. Regards to all.

Me Sludge stomp!
I finally completed the #5 Dinobots of the SS-86 Movie series. Of the 5, Sludge has some issues that the other 4 didn't. His hip ratchets are kind of loose. Supposedly the 2nd batch were corrected. So I got stuck with the 1st. For collectors in the know, easily remedied with a little dab of clear floor polish. Of course this should not have been the case in the 1st place.Another issue, Hb had this lamebrain idea to add some side kicks with Grimlock( Wheelie but static) and Slag (Danny in his Exo suit, another static figure). I find these useless addition that , well added no value but increased the cost unnecessarily. For Sludge, nothing(not even his Looney Tunes optics). He did have his gun but with no sword. That part you can get with another version of Grimlock (Marvel Comic version that is). aaaaaaaarghTalk about abusing your loyal fanbase eh Hb? I just had to get it out of my chest.Anyways aside from those issues, Sludge is a solid figure for the then price point. Now that I have Swoop, I can now reenact my childhood memory scene from the 86 movie beating the snoot out of UW Devastar!Still a recommended purchase!

Sludge !!
Finally got sludge, I have to say it's worth the money. I will list the pro and con.Pro:1) it size are bigger than Grimlock in dino mode.2) paint jobs and molding details are super good.3)Good for display on your desk, best view is in dino mode.Con:1) the joints are very loss, so it feel like I might break and if you pull too hard some parts will pop off, but you still can pop back in.2) don't trash the transformation Manu, it get very confusing you might have to watch a video on YouTube to finish it.Overall, this is a great collection for my dino team. Very high in details design and best looking in dino mode. So your a fan of transformers this is a good one to have. Thanks for readin.🙂

Really impressed so far
Loving the size. This is what Sludge (my favorite Transformer since he first appeared) should always have been. Put him next to g1 Sludge and the difference is impressive. As others have noted the pieces seem to pop off kind of easy but that is almost expected with the new Transformer pieces. It is part of how they get the details and posability to work together. The “stage” is simple but pretty neat.My biggest disappointment so far is the lack of a sword but given how good he looks in brontosaurus mode I can live with that.Second would have been easy to fix. The tab on his hip is too small for the gun handle.

Fantastic!
Fantastic figure and customer service. I had to send back the first copy I was sent as there were scratches on the dino mode head, the right arm was very loose, and it couldn't really stand under its own weight when in robot mode. The figure I was sent in return is perfect. Thank you!
