This spice is more associated with Chinese cooking than Indian - but it does appear in some recipies of the Indian style curries I enjoy cooking so I am glad to have found it.

This was an ideal sized amount in a very convenient glass jar. The size of a Swartz herb jar it arrived with a tear off patch under the lid, once opened the majority of the contents were whole anise. Perfect aroma, and if like us you use Anise on rare occasions then this package is absolutely ideal. highly recommended.
