These are the only hose clamps my husband will use on his engines.

To be fair, these clamps do what they are meant to do - as well as any other brand I've installed. The massive problem with these clamps is the construction of them that leaves four tabs sticking out of the body of the clamp. These tabs are SHARP and when they contact your skin, they cut without warning. As one who refits boats, I install hundreds of hose clamps every year. I regret ever buying these, as every time I reach around or through or into a motor box, chase, or compartment, I come out bloody from these things. Find another brand.
