I bought this for my mom who needs total care and is confined to a hospital bed. Her bed has a plastic mattress and the head is sometimes elevated, both of which cause her to slide down and need to be pulled up. I use Priva's large (34" x 52") bed pad for this purpose (which has been a lifesaver, so I'm including the link  Priva High Quality Ultra Waterproof Sheet and Mattress Protector 34" x 52", 8 Cups Absorbency, Guarantee 300 Machine Washes ), as well as to turn her over; however, doing this made it impossible to keep a bottom sheet on her bed. I have been using this as a bottom sheet for a few months now, and am happy to say that it has helped tremendously. Although it does shift and needs to be adjusted to remove any creases, it has never come off the bed entirely. I also appreciate that it is waterproof and noiseless.

I tried to give this time, but this is not waterproof! I’ve spilled water by mistake and my daughter has had accidents and it always goes through. I have this protector and it’s over another protector to control body heat and it still goes through the mattress! So I’ve had to buy another one because we would get too hot with only this protector. I’ve washed it in cold water and dry in extreme low heat and just let the rest hair dry. Which is terrible, because I can’t wash and dry quickly. Very unhappy, every time I have to clean the mattress I think what a waste of money.

I read hundreds of reviews trying to find a mattress cover that was truly waterproof. With their great return policy, I decided to give these a try. I ordered one for my son's bed and one for our bed to protect our mattresses from nighttime "accidents". My son has peed in both beds and neither time did it leak through to the mattress. These have a been a great purchase and I would recommend!

This mattress pad will fit the bill for my split king mattress. They are quiet to sleep on and I like the terry material. I've already washed and dried them and they dry quickly. There are sufficiently deep to fit larger memory foam mattresses with material to spare. I think they will give long service.

4.5 stars for me. The only downfall is when I put the protector on it was a bit noisy as it slide across my bed but after putting the fitted sheet, the noise was canceled out. Good price as well. I have washed and dried it medium heat twice already, so far no rips and no leak throughs.

So far so good, my son has wet the bed twice since using and the second time was a soaker and the mattress was dry! I was skeptical since we already tried one and it didn’t work. Hoping it continues to do its job!UPDATE- it was fantastic the first 3-4 accidents and now it soaks through to the mattress, bummed it’s past the return time

This thing is pointless for spills/accidents. Only thing it protects against is MAYBE sweating.Easy to wash noise free and comfortable but didn't protect my mattress.

We have only had it on the bed for 4 days, so no spills yet and no need to wash it yet, but it fits well and is exactly as represented. We have many pets and it has been muddy/wet here, and nothing transferred to our mattress. It is doing its job. Also very comfortable to sleep on. Doesn't change the feel of our over-priced mattress, doesn't crunch or crackle upon movement. All good so far.
