This is a well thought out design.I’ve bought many nail clippers in my 78 years and I consider these to be pretty darn good.I also own a couple of Victorinox clippers which are also very good.This clipper though, have a larger mouth which makes it easier to get the nail inside.It has a solid heavy feel and it seems to be a more comfortable fit for my hands.I don’t need the “nail clippings” catcher, but that just personal preference. It seems to catch 70% of the clippings.This is quite a good value for the money. I think you will be pleased with the purchase.

i love love LOVE these nail clippers! i bought them once several years ago and they’ve held up perfectly — these are the only clippers i use to cut my nails now. the compartment that keeps the nail clippings in is pretty neat, i’ve not had any issues with it but there are a few things to keep in mind. the compartment isn’t intended to store the nail clippings over several uses before emptying out, and is rather a mechanism to help prevent a mess of nail clippings on the floor. when opening and closing the clippers, the door to the compartment opens and closes as well, so you should empty it out after each use before putting them away, otherwise the nail clippings will fall out. it’s also important to note that if you turn the clippers upside down while the compartment is full, the clippings will fall out unless you’re pressing the clippers down. its pretty straightforward though, and again, i haven’t had any issues. the clippers themselves cut through nails super easily and leave them feeling fairly smooth/not harsh or jagged. overall i would definitely recommend!

These are exactly what I was looking for. A high quality nail clipper that looks stylish, feels solid in the hand, catches nail clippings and is not only sharp but keeps it's edge. They look great, feel great, and doesn't break the bank. A unique design that doesn't swivel around but instead flips an inner plate up and over to 1) use as a pivot which at the same time 2) closes the reservoir to catch the nails. These clippers are best of all worlds, you won't be disappointed!

the old adage about building a a better mouse trap might hold true for this item. It seems to be very well made as a few additions which allows someone to collect the nail clippings. It comes with a rather cheap plastic carrying case; however, I didn't expect this to be added. I used them right after I received them. and they're sharp and large allowing me to use them with my arthritic hands. I don't know how long they'll hold up or how long they'll remain sharp. I seldom give five star reviews and only gave this a 4 star rating because they are more expensive than most nail clippers.

I received my KLIPS quickly and well packaged. I was impressed with the heft and quality of their construction. Really nice hinge and they fold flat when the bin cover plate is open. Very sharp and easy to operate and I was surprised to see how they catch all the clippings in a small built in tray. I’d forgotten about that ability! Ha! I highly recommend these clippers to anyone that likes a quality tool!! Well worth the $.

Beautiful and solid all metal build quality. I never thought I'd be saying this about nail clippers. Cuts effortlessly. Catching nail trimmings was not on my priority list, but this works very well and appreciate it now.

I bought this because a family member recommended it. The blade is sharp, but as far as it "catching" the nails, it really doesn't, they fall right back out the clipper so unless you hold it upright when clipping all the nails come right back out. Great idea, not great execution. Keeping because the blade is still sharp and works fine.

My first clippers that held the trimmings was a stainless steel one, made in the USA. Eventually they wouldn't even cut a babies fingernails. So my hunt for a better one began.This KLIPP is my second purchase. First, I love that it catches my trimmings and make my wife happy nails are not all over the floor. Even the weight of this one is very impressive, wow. Sharp, I think it will cut the heaviest toenails & fingernails. In short it is fantastic, just incredible.At 76 years old when I find something that really works, I like to pass it on. This will make the perfect Xmas and birthday gifts for the future.If you're searching, this will be the last one you will ever buy. An incredible product, I could not be more pleased.
