GraefWK701EU Acrylic Temperature Kettle, White (black) 1.5 Litre

Really love this. It looks smart, drinking coffee and fruit teas mainly, the temp control has really improved the taste cf to boiling water. short beep when it is at temperature is fine, as is the temperature display as it cools off. . Not at all annoying. I find pouring exact too, much better than others I have had. Some people seemed to find it awkward..I really disagree. Stainless steel inside is ideal. I use filtered water in it mostly which has cut down the calcification from Bristol water.I am pleased I spent the extra on this kettle, partly to have a lovely designed functional object, but also for practicality of stainless steel cutting out the toxins from plastic, and not having to wait for the boiled water to cool before making coffee.. I usually forgot and then had to reheat, which was wasteful of electricity. This saves all that.

Only had this kettle a few days so can't comment on reliability, build quality of kettle appears very good and is easy to keep clean due to acrylic surround , kettle is quiet in operation,, the pop up lid appears good quality and lifts all the way open at the touch of a button to enable hassle free filling from any style of kitchen tap. The kettle is also lightweight,The kettle due to acrylic surround prevents the outer body of the kettle becoming very hot,The digital display is useful and displays the current temperature 70, 80, 90, 100 when boiling so give you a indicator how long it will take, also the display stays illuminated when lifted off the Base. The kettle will make a beep when it's reached temperature which I did not find obtrusive and overly loud.my only complaint of the kettle is the spout, usually I only fill the kettle for enough for 2 mugs to save boiling excess water, due to design when pouring the kettle has to be tipped up more than with a standard kettle and it does not pour cleanly, the odd slight splash of boiling water will find its way on the counter top,If the kettle is filled to maximum line, the kettle does not have to be tilted quite as much, and as long as you don't tip it up too much it will pour slowly but in a steady stream without too many spills . There is a knack to doing this,Edit 31/5/16 decided to send this kettle back after less than a weeks use, despite loving the modern designer look, the spout design is causing issues and even when making mug of coffee I'm having to wipe down the mug and counter top of spilt water which you should not have to do .

This is a kettle that looks smart, and acts smart! I like the way you can select the desired temperature, which is handy if you have herbal teas, coffee, etc. It's not perfect - the pourer is odd (but it works for me), and the chrome section is plastic (so I don't know how long it will stay looking good). However, as a gadget lover, this kettle ticks all the boxes for me.

I love this kettle, very stylish, like that you can boil the water to different temperatures, it even beeps to let you know it has boiled. Would recommend.

This kettle arrived very quickly in just 2 days. It was well wrapped and looks great, again even better than the photos. It works well and boils water very quickly. It is the best kettle I have ever had and I am very pleased with it.
