My 7 year old really loves these shoes. At first, I was under the impression that these shoes would light up as he walked, but that is not the case. They have a small switch inside that can be pressed and the colors on the bottom of the shoes. The lights on the shoes are BRIGHT. What I really like about them is that they can be plugged in via usb and charged. One of the things I did not like is that one of the light settings features a very fast on and off flashing light which I could see being a problem for people prone to seizures. Other than that, my son enjoys these very much!
