I was skeptical at first and I will say it was touch to stay on this mat the first few days as the spikes hurt. But after your body adjust and you take some deep breathes it feels fine, which afterwards feels relaxing to the point where you will find yourself falling asleep while on the spikes. I like it because especially at the beginning, the only thing you are focused on is the mat. There is no stress or worries anymore.

Stop looking at other brands and order this one. I have tried and sent back multiple brands and this Shakti is the real deal. Worth every penny. I use this every night and have not had back pain since I started using this a month ago. It does everything it is advertised to do and it feels like magic and I still feel like it is too good to be true.

Pretty uncomfortable initially. After gradually increasing usage it gets better. Helps with back discomfort as well as sleep. I now use it as part of my meditation practice. Love it.

I have been using these mats for about 6 years. They really work. I own 2 of the shakti brands and one non. There is a difference. Shakti is top quality. Take note that there are different levels of these mats. This one is very intense and I don’t recommend it for a first timer. The original level is actually perfect. I would suggest this one after you have a lot of experience with the original version. You have to commit in order to get to the benefits. Make it through the first 3-4 minutes and you’ll be surprised at the switch from pain to a relaxing, pleasing sensation. I have fallen asleep many times on mine. Good luck. You won’t be disappointed.

Had it for about a month now and use it every day, never had a acupressure session before and now I'm a believer. I sleep better and over all, just less wound up on the daily and yes its true; ill never forget my first shakti session :))

This is not for everyone. It has definitely taken some getting used to. I do not use this thing everyday. Not by a longshot. Maybe I would see even greater benefits if I did. However, this has been an incredible tool for stress relief. I have used this when I was feeling so much stress that I could barely breathe. Laying down on this helped me to be able to relax enough to take full breaths again.

If you can get a tattoo you can lay on this all day long. The biggest thing that makes it uncomfortable is laying down and then having to adjust. I try to lay down as flat as possible on it and just kind of roll side to side to adjust so that way the spikes don’t tear at me. I love it! It helps a lot! I am a mechanic full-time, full-time single dad to a two-year-old, and I do side jobs. I’m almost 40 and my body is hurting. This is definitely a tool I have added to my arsenal to help combat the aches and pains of life. I wake up with tension in my neck and shoulders all the time. I lay on this( sometimes in the morning, but I try not to because it does help you fall asleep) multiple times a day. Everything they say is true. Its uncomfortable and you want to get up or keep adjusting. Even if you’re in a weird position, just lay there. once that uncomfortable feeling goes away you literally start feeling it piercing into the tension and then a hot feeling just releases.it’s amazing! Get the advanced mat! Its not bad! You’ll wish you did!

I absolutely love this mat. My experience is just as described. Discomfort for first minute or two, but amazing during the rest and afterwards. I did fall asleep on it for 1.5 hrs as well on night. I take it when I travel as well. Great relaxation tool! I look forward to using it every night before bed.
