I bought this feeder four months ago, and it's been really helpful for managing my cat's feeding schedule. Setting it up was easy, and it holds enough food for 9-14 days, depending on the portion size. I can program the feeding times, and it supports up to 4 feeding time a day. It has definitely made my life easier, especially when I'm on vacation and I want to be sure my cats are fed, plus my cat seems to be happy with it too.The feeder is sturdy and seems well-built. The portion sizes are consistent, and the food doesn't get stuck. I haven't had any issues with it malfunctioning, and it's easy to clean. Overall, it's been a reliable addition to taking care of my pet, and I feel more relaxed knowing my cat is well-fed.p.s. Having the batteries as a back up option really helped us during the recent storm. We didn't have electricity for 2 days while we were away from home but the feeder worked as expected. It was such a relief.

Great Feeder! Here's an Easy Weather and Raccoon Resistance Solution for Outdoor Feeding.I purchased the VOLUAS 4-Litre feeder to feed a few of feral cats who also invite their rowdy friends Mr. Opossum and Rocky the Raccoon. Rocky in particular has really bad table manners as he will eat the entire bowl of food, with nothing remaining for the cats or the poor little possum. Feeding multiple times over the course of the night with the VOLUAS automatic feeder elegantly took care of that. I manually fill the bowl at dusk when I put the feeder out, and then the feeder is set to dispense 4 meals over the course of the night, so that even if the raccoon consumes a whole meal, the cats and possum will come by later on and still get fed. (I set up a wildlife camera and found that this process works very well, with the whole menagerie well fed and happy.)I had but one problem: It rains a bit here in South Florida, actually it rains a good deal, in fact, it rains so much that I'm building an ark in my spare time! I couldn't find a feeder that was weather resistant, but came up with a very easy and inexpensive way to remedy that. A five-gallon bucket from either the blue or orange big-box store is easily modified to cover the entire feeder, with only a small opening for the bowl to protrude. It's like the engineer who designed the feeder had this in mind; that's how well it fits. The feeder is both protected from rain, and protected from the destructive effects of direct sunlight. If you set the feeder up in a remote location, the bucket makes it very easy and comfortable to carry the feeder and bowl back and forth to the house. Note: This works for the 4-Litre style, the larger feeders won't fit.If you'll examine the photos, you can see that the only modification to the bucket is to make two small vertical cuts with a hacksaw from the rim, then score horizontally with a utility knife. The piece then easily snaps off, and the modification is complete. I suggest placing a heavy weight (The concrete frog in my case.) on top to prevent the bucket and feeder getting tipped over, and to further secure the food storage compartment.The VOLUAS automatic feeder works great, I can only think of one wish, and that would be to add a "Bypass" Button so that if I want to skip feeding for a day or two, I can just put the unit in Bypass until I want to begin the feeding cycle again. This is a small nitpick, not a complaint, just a wish for the future.Bottom line: I give the VOLUAS automatic feeder a full Five Stars for both price and functionality.

This product was pretty easy to set up. Almost two basic. If you didn't know how to use the technology, It was mild troubleshooting with the proportion size because they didn't actually tell you how big the size is were and they go up from 0 to 12. For my cats I feed them twice a day and portion size number four was perfect for them with the small pieces of food that I feed them. It does have backup batteries that you can install just in case power was to go out which happened on our trip that we left when we bought these feeders and luckily it stayed powered for the entire 8 hours we were out of electricity. I have one feeder inside and one outside for my outside cats. It's enclosed in a cat house to keep away from the elements.Disclaimer: It does say not to use outside but because I sheltered it it's fine. The only modification we had to use was screwing it into the cat house and taping. The lid shut because of possums and or raccoons that we're trying to get into the food or smarter than the latch mechanism itself, but for just cats in general it stopped them. So if you plan on using this for any outdoor cats that aren't in side just be aware it's easy to knock over.Positive: depending on your portion sides of course we were going a whole week and I filled the cat feeder completely full and I ran it a week prior to leaving. Then we got back a week later and it was still very full and it ran for a good month. So the proportion size was great because you can fill it up and just continue running it so you don't have to worry about ever forgetting feed your pets and you can save money with the correct proportion size. Small compact you can record your voice to have your animal come to you that seem to really work on my youngest cat. Food loves me to death and won't eat when I'm gone so that really help with separation anxiety.Cons: It will still continue to try to dispense food when it's empty so you just have to learn to check it and it gives you the option. I believe to feed up to four times a day and it doesn't really go into detail and instructions, but if you just hit zero it won't dispense any food. It just skips that time frame so you can literally put two spots at zero in your feeding time from like 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. And leave the other one zeros. But you have to go through each set up in order to feed them the amount of times you feed them. Not knowing what the proportion size were were a trouble shoot. I had to set the timer to go off and then reset it all once I figured out how big and small proportions were. Just overall it's a good simple feeder with very basic setup instructions.

It needs to be configured with the tiny LCD screen, no app. Would be fine for $50 but doesn't compete with the others at the same price point

I am amazed at how wonderful this feeder is. My cat came from a shelter with some bad habits. Whenever I went into the kitchen she begged for more food and got louder and louder. This feeder has cured the habit of calling for food. When she hears the kibble falling in her bowl she runs to the kitchen. Peace and quiet in the home now. I found the instructions difficult and would suggest you google it first. I followed the recommended amount of kibble on the package to feed my cat. Weighed the 1/2 cup and divided it by 3 as I choose to feed her 3 times a day. Do several quick feeds to see which program delivers the right amount for you. Mine was program 4.

Excellent produit. Plusieurs ajustements possibles pour les portions et les moments à faire distribuer les croquettes. Ne requiert pas trop d'énergie des batteries. Je recommande!
