Q: Would this work with a Yamaha DGX 220?

I use mine with a Yamaha PSR E433 with excellent results. I'm not familiar with your model but provided a 'sustain' socket is on your keyboard (just look at the back or the specification details) I see no reason why it should not work. Hope this helps.

Q: Does it work with akai mpk mini?

Amazon sell the Akai mpk mini MARK 2 with the option of purchasing the M-Audio SP2 as an extra add on. It has a sustain pedal input on the back panel, but may or may not need a 6mm adapter.

Q: Will this work with a yamaha np31 piaggero keyboard

I can see no reason why it should not work as I have used it on Yamaha and Casio keyboards. I also discovered that if the keyboard has two sockets that it can also be used as a damper pedal too. I am considering getting another one to use for this purpose too - just like a piano.
