Better than you would expect.
Performs better than expected. I had this for over a year now. I doubted it at first but have used/abused it. It continues to work well as has been one of my better yards tools. Light weight with a surprising dig /till capacity and breaks down clumps easily. Depth is a little shallow but just till, scrape off and go deeper. I have never run out of battery power (from a full charge). I would definitely buy it again and have recommended it to others.

It is the easiest to use mini-tiller we have used.
This rototiller is just perfect says my 80 year old husband avid gardener. He is able to easily lift the tiller into our raised beds and stir up the soil better than turning it with a spade. It really gets to work loosening the soil and is easy to manage making turns and along the sides and in the corners of or bed frames. He is very happy with this machine.

Works well but extra part made assembly a little confusing.
Works better than expected. Used it to till an existing raised garden bed (10x10). Took about 7 minutes. Went down 6-8 inches. Any small rocks that were in the way just got pushed to the side. Still had 3 out of 4 bars of battery left. Tines were sharp and didn't get bogged down. The reason I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars is related to the assembly. There were 2 screw down locking handles (one on the bottom rod and one on the top rod). There should only be one on the top. Needed to unscrew and remove the one on the bottom in order to connect both portions of tiller and screw down top one to lock in place. Not a big deal once I realized there was an extra one and watched a video that showed the same issue. And the washer that collapses when tightening the handle was a separate piece and not attached to the handle as seen in the Amazon videos. Aside from that confusion, everything works well. Battery charges easily. Light on the plug shows red (needs charging) or green (fully charged). Also, little button on battery that lets you see who much charge is left. Just press once and it shows battery life that's left. Light goes off automatically. Nice touch. Overall, decent product for our needs and easy to use. Just watch the videos in the thumbnails on this site to see assembly which wil make it simple. (photo of extra handle attached)

Little beast
I was about to give this thing a 1 star and send it back because it wouldn't start. Once I realized the extra locking nut was keeping the prongs from engaging and removed it, it nearly took me for a ride! I'm 100 lbs soaking wet and don't have the upper body strength to handle bigger tillers. For as small as it is, it's a little beast. The blades get clogged easily if it's ripping through longer grass but I have rocky soil and it still ran like a champ. I didn't run the battery all the way down to know exactly how long it lasts but I got a fairly good sized space done and was glad to have an extra backup in case I needed it. Definitely worth what I paid.

Light and easy to use
First off: if you cannot connect the 2 parts it is because they gave you an extra flange. Twist (unscrew) the lower piece female flange and voilá. Easy to assemble after that! This is a great time saver for small gardens and landscaping jobs. It is not going to get a deep till and works much better if you pull or trim long weeds first. Common sense: don’t use with large rocks or woody weeds until they are cleared. It does work with smaller pebbles in the soil. I pulled the long weeds and then used the Weed Dragon to burn off the smaller ones. Then I tilled. We have clay soil and this did a nice loosening up the top couple inches. We bought a house that had been on the market for a year and all the landscaping beds were overgrown with weeds. If this lasts long enough to get the whole front yard done, it will have paid for itself!

Much more than expected!!
Let me start off by saying that I'm not a big fan of electric yard equipment, and I really didn't expect much from this unit...but I was very much surprised!!! For it's size and battery power, this thing is a beast!! it cut through my flower beds, which have been untouched for three years, and turned the soil over without slowing down at all. although I didn't time it, one battery lasted through two 50 foot by 2 foot stretches with power to spare and into a third section. Money well spent, since the space was too narrow to use my gas powered rototiller. Highly recommended. only two minor negatives to report.... 1) it pulled up a rock which wedged in between the tines and the dirt shield, and since there is no way to reverse the direction or freewheel the tines< I had to pound out the rock with a hammer and metal punch,,,,but only once in two 50 foot stretches. the other minus is that the the auxiliary handle on the shaft is hard to secure in place because the shaft is very smooth and it is almost impossible to tighten the clamp tight enough to keep it from moving around. Simple fix though is to find your "sweet spot" and wrap some type of "duct tape' or other material around the shaft to help the handle "get a grip"...easy peasy!!! Great little flower bed tiller, well worth the money!!
