I was disappointed in the design of this fixture. I've been installing light fixtures as an electrician for over 30 years and it never ceases to amaze me how short-sighted engineers can be. If you are going to be using a cut-in or remodel box to install this fixture, you're going to have a hard time getting the perimeter to sit flush against the ceiling with the hardware provided. This is due to the top lip or rim of the fixture being too short and giving you less than zero clearance between the mounting bracket and top of the fixture housing. Also, the location of the wires as they exit the fixture is poor. They need to be positioned much closer to the center of the fixture so they end up under the box - not outside of it.

The lighting element, itself, would get 5 stars, but the mounting mechanism brings it down to 3. The screw holes weren't anywhere close to what my old fixture (and the junction box in the ceiling) called for. I had to get an adapter ring at the hardware store to securely/safely mount the light. The seller does not provide the dimensions for the mounting plate, orm, (which would have been even more helpful), a diagram showing the distance between the mounting bolt holes.Again, the light itself is great, but the lack of dimensional info in the product description led to some serious aggravation with installation.

The light gives off plenty of light, in fact in think the lumen rating is the only real accurate part of the description. The color is way warmer than 4000k, I would put it closer to 3000k. I used some blue threadlocker to keep the threaded inserts in that the caps use to hold the cover in place. I would give the build quality of the board and driver 4 stars, the brightness 5 stars, but fit/finish I would only give 1 star to. It doesn't seem like much attention was paid to the small details but I'm still glad I bought it. We will see how long it lasts.

We searched for a good bright office light when our last one from Costco quit working. This light had the highest lumen rating of all LED surface mount lights we could find and at a reasonable cost. This one is smaller than our old oval shaped fixture but is brighter. Our other light never seemed quite bright enough without turning on our pole lamp. But this one lights up our home office room just right. I wouldn't want one any dimmer than this. We also notice that because of the rounded shape of the plastic diffuser, it really throws the light out to the sides better than our last light. Be aware of a couple of things. This light seems so light weight that you loose confidence in it until you turn it on. Then it is amazing. The other thing is that it is a much cooler, less yellow color than most warm white or tungsten bulbs. We like this because it is more like sunlight. But this is personal preference. Another thing is that the spacing on the mounting holes on the light housing was a good half inch wider than the mounting screws on our electrical box from 1990. So I had to use one of those and then run a sheet rock screw up into a stud just outside the box. Overall, I would rate this as an excellent product and a great value for the money. I love long lasting, energy efficient LED lighting. Couldn't be happier!Update: I ordered a second one for our laundry room. Wow! This light weighs a fraction of the old fixture with two U-shaped fluorescent bulbs in it and is way smaller. No more fluorescent hum and probably 4 times as much light! My wife loves it too :)

This product is perfect for our den. It works beautifully with LED Dimmer with the traditional switch and the small slider. The fixture is easy to mount on the ceiling being very light and when mounted looks good on the ceiling. It throws the kind of light I need for doing tedious jobs with small screws and soldering 22 gauge wires and still works perfectly when dimmed for watching Amazon Prime TV/Movies in the evening. We love it.

Fixture came well packaged and instructions were clear. Components were well made, if a lot flimsier than expected. Looks fine once installed, but definitely a mid-range fixture. On the plus side, the light is bright and uniform, if not as warm white as I had thought when I selected that version. Only real complaint was how difficult it was to align the base plate with the mounting bolts. The plate sits flush to the ceiling, of course, and it's a big 12" square, so lining up even one of the bolts to the through hole took much longer than expected. I have put up a lot of fixtures in my day and this isn't an uncommon problem, but the size of the plate certainly made it a more frustrating experience than usual. That said, it looks well enough and the working parts seem well made, so I've ordered a second one for another bath.

The materials are kind of cheap. The white dome is plastic and the metal frame is very thin. But, it puts out very good light. I purchased the 16" size for my kitchen and it lights things up well. Looking at the small LEDs inside, you wouldn't expect that much light. Instructions are not real clear, but I am an experienced do-it-yourselfer and I was able to get it up fairly easily and only a couple of profanities.

It's "okay"... I wanted a native LED and this achieved that. The electronics are of quality and the light is a nice true daylight, I put it in my closet.Negatives: It wasn't as bright as I expected, so I was slightly disappointed. But the biggest issue is the esthetics, it just looks cheap. The metal is supposed to be nickel, but it's some cheap tin like metal that is really more of a chrome. The plastic defuser is also really cheap looking. For my closet where no one will see it, I guess it's fine... short story, you get what you pay for!
