This was the worst design ever. I originally thought it would be a great, compact, product which was easy to use. Once it arrived we opened it and he tried it on and looked like he was wearing a "Cone of Shame". If he lifted his arms to the position he would be in to trim his beard the product raised up so far that it prohibited him from seeing himself in the mirror. So unless you have no chest at all and are the size of a small child with arms longer than a gorilla I doubt this product would work for you either. We were very disappointed.

Good in theory, but not fully functional design. I bought this for my husband to help reduce the amount of hair that falls on the sink counter, but he used it once and didn't find it practical at all. First, the duck bill part comes up way too high and won't stay down. You have to hold it down for it to flatten horizontally like the picture. It bends up at more of like a 45 degree angle and covers part of your face, which obviously gets in the way of your shaving. The other thing is the opening to get your head through is pretty tight, which I guess I can understand that you don't want hairs to fall through but it's hard to get your head through and it sits too high on the neck so you can't shave lower. Overall, my husband didn't find it very usable.I was attracted to this design more than the ones you suction cup the ends to the mirror, since it seemed more portable and was smaller, but maybe the other design works better which is why it's more popular.

Bought this Beard Smock for my husband. The idea behind it is great! But we ended up returning it right away. His main issue is that he kept bumping it and it would tilt (and dump clippings) when he would be clipping in certain positions. He felt he had to keep his elbows held out in an uncomfortable way. If the bib would sit lower to allow his arms more room to move, I think this would've been a hit. He also has a thicker neck and wears glasses so getting the smock on and off was a little awkward.

Great product, works well. Just make sure you are careful while taking it of so the trimmings don't go flying everywhere. If you open the velcro traps and put your chin down while taking it off you should be fine. As far as the shape, it is easy to bend it to get exactly the right shape and angle you need. When used properly this thing rocks!

I got this after I spent 700 dollars to have my pipe unclogged and it was all facial hair.You look dumb using it, you have to force it out of your face to see to shave and with all the struggle hair is all over.Dumbest thing I’ve ever purchased.

At first when I ordered this item it came to us and was obviously defective. The company contacted us and told us that things do happen but that they wanted to make the situation right and keep us as a customer in the future. They sent out another Beard Smock and when it came in, I immediately had my boyfriend try it out as it was intended as a gift for him. It is fantastic! It easily allows him to trim his beard in a neat way and it keeps my counter tops absolutely hair free! Best gift ever in my opinion!

Does work right awkward & hard to shave your face it keeps getting in the way...

It was a gag gift, but it’s been used a few times.
