Yes, this will power the Panasonic GH5 with the dummy battery adapter (where the Fotga DP500 I tried could not). If I could give this product 6 or more stars I would. It works perfectly as described and provides a ridiculous number of options for powering all your video accessories. If you're like me, I have a dozen proprietary batteries for my video gear that all have different chargers. I used to have terrible nightmares about getting out to a video shoot and leaving one battery or another in the charger. With this Movo V-Mount plate, I power the GH5 and it's XLR mic pre-amp (that uses phantom power), a Shogun Inferno monitor/recorder, and LED video lights. All these monsters used different batteries and sucked power like crazy. Not a concern any more and set-up time is cut in half. The only downsides are very minor: (1) the V-mount itself is a little sloppy and you have to make sure the battery snaps securely into place, and (2) rod mount bracket doesn't hold the weight of the battery very well nor can I spot it where I want it on my SmallRig (in some positions the tightening knobs actually interfere with each others' range of motion). All-in-all, quite an incredible utility and it comes with a lot of connecting cables and adapter tips. Great value for under $100 and I did buy this myself.

UPDATE: After about 6 months the ratchet knobs started to strip and spin so that I couldn't lock the position of the plate tightly. I looked at replacing them with similar ratcheting screws but decided to just JB Weld the knobs to the screw heads and be done with it. Slightly limits the positions I can lock to if my rig is fully loaded but really not a big deal. ___________________ Very impressed by the build quality of the RBS1 in comparison to similar and slightly more expensive competitor battery plates. The product comes securely and neatly packaged in a foam padded box, the printed materials are attractive and clear, and the cables are good quality. The plate itself is very sturdy and I have no reservations about bringing it into a production environment. My only issue is that there seems to be a bit of physical interference somewhere in the v-mount groove, as I have to ensure that my batteries are aligned and inserted very straight in order to get them to seat. When they do seat, there is not a satisfying click, though they are securely locked in place. I do not have this issue with a similar plate from a competitor. I contact Movo support and they said they had not seen this issue before, but offered to replace or refund my unit. I decided to keep it as I am overall very happy with the unit (especially for the price!) and would recommend it.

Great product and does the job well as it comes with various voltage inputs, USB, AC/DC, etc. But the one flaw of it that definitely has affected production on set for me was off one fact. The baseplate becomes loose after a few months of regular use on set or even from casual use. I asked MOVO to send me out a replacement part for it once (thinking it could just be the connecting part from the rail mount to the plate itself), but that did not do the trick well enough. The entire plate for my V-Mount battery has continued rocking back and forth like the tilting you see in the video. Hoping MOVO can send me out an entire replacement.

I really like this battery plate. It has everything you'd need may it be professional or hobbyist like most people buying this product. I gotta say though for the the hobbyist buying this and giving it a bad review, I feel like they're not really sure what to look for in a v-mount battery and what to expect when they use them. It's either that or these people giving it 1 star are just trolls. But I really like it. It serves its purpose. I'm using a Juicebox 95 Watt Hour battery on it. It has all the different voltages you'd need. I'm using a Panasonic S1H. The OEM battery for that camera which is the DMW-BLJ31 shows that it uses 7.4v. So I used the right cable that fits the Panasonic dummy battery that I have, the DMW-DCC16 and I plugged it in to the 7.4v DC out, didn't work. I used the 8.4v DC out, didn't work. So I plugged it in to the 9v DC out and it works perfectly. I've done multiple shoots with it already and it's consistent. Zero issues at all during shoots and that's what matters most. Highly recommend this. I actually initially bought the Soonwell brand one and that one didn't even have the right DC cables and that one feels so much more plastic. This Movo one is the way to go. There are other ones that are more expensive but this one, you're getting a really good value. Major, major, major, major, GO!

Need some work on finishing, some V-mount batteries did not fit, I have Other V-Mount plates, but I never had issues with any of my battery not fitting, so I had to file the plastic sides and those batteries now fit perfectly, other than that, it’s a good product. It’s the only V-mount Plate with Direct 9V output I could find on Amazon, it powered my Panasonic Lumix S1, and that means it will work with My Lumix S1H as well, they both use the same 9V DC, that’s a good selling point as well. Please work on your Finishing and you will have a fantastic product, Then I will buy one more I have Panasonic Lumix S1 and S1H that needs 9V power. I have High Hopes for you, I will be watching.

It’s a v-lock battery mount with some good features. Includes several regulated outputs and several cables for various purposes. Good price. However, I had to return this one and go with a different brand because of the bracket. Even fully tightened the bracket is sloppy. Also, the knob to clamp to the 15mm rods is bottom center instead of on the sides, so that limits what other items it will play well with - in particular, the shoulder pad. Because of the location of the clamp knob, the battery mount cannot slide forward above the shoulder pad.

The general construction of the mount plate is good. The itembbeing given 3 stars because of a missing cable for 12v output (which has a fatter connection pin than the rest of the output slots). Message to seller didn't result in a response and so far the missing cable has not been sent to me. If service response was better this would get 4 or maybe even 5 stars.
