This is a great addition to the Jeep Wrangler 4 door.Product Quality: The fit is good and overall quality is extremely sturdy. The spider balls work well and after having this installed for the last several months I have seen no issues with the elastic failing or stress on any of the grommets or shade material.Use: When driving with the top back it seemed that the sun was always shining directly in your eyes. The real nice part about having this Spidershade is that you still get the feel of having the top back, but with out the direct sunlight. When parked it is really nice knowing that the interior is not getting baked by the sun! Additionally, there is a noticeable positive difference in wind decrease in the cabin as well. This seems to be very favorable for the wife and teenage daughter who both have long hair.Installation: I originally installed this with the soft top in the retractable mode (half back) and not all the way back (with windows out). By doing this I found that I was not able to pull the Spidershade back far enough and there was a little slack in the tightness up front by the windshield mounts. I would highly recommend that you put the top all the way back and then install the Spidershade (which is the recommended way). This will make it much easier to install and will help ensure that you have it pulled over the rear roll bar as it should. I leave this on all the time, soft top up or off and find it has no interference in the cabin (6' 3" and my head/hair does not touch the shade ). Note - you do have to remove the left and right windshield mount Spiderballs to secure the soft top latches (center mount always attached), which is only a minor inconvenience. After some bungee modifications because of the soundbar on my 2015 Sahara, the shade panel fits perfectly. There IS a huge difference at 70 mph, I can hear the radio and even a conversation. Not to mention the shade from the TX sun while still being able to enjoy the freedom tops. Great color, easy to reinstall hardtop sections without removing the shade. Just unfasten the front spider balls and pop the tops back on, as normal. Very happy with my top so far!!

Fast delivery with a decent price. Saved shipping cost. Product came complete and installed correctly. After careful research, shade #1 for the money. Lets a lot of light through, almost glows green. Cut down on wind buffeting near our heads, most noticeable in the front. Might be able to wear a hat at hwy speeds. Sun block is 60% or better, great for blistering Dallas summers. Color is bright and very even. Fits as expected. No flaws, however, suspect spiderwebshade would be replaced if there were any manufacturing defects.I did notice the freedom top holes do not line up, not even close. We'll see if that's an issue and if there's a remedy.Bang for the buck, this is a great deal.

There were zero instructions on the placement of the spider balls. It took some videos to check to make sure I was doing it right. Once you know it's extremely simple. It looked great. Fit well. Was tight. Once I got it on though I quickly realized that to put my freedom tops back on I would have to remove it. I bought it as something I didn't need to remove. Partly my own fault for no thinking this through but it didn't say anywhere that you can't keep it installed with a freedom top. If you do you have to undo part of it to get it unlatched and latched again. Too much of a PITA for me to keep. I returned it immediately after install. So something to think about if you have freedom tops.

The end result was good, but installation with the hardtop on and speakers in the rollbar was certainly a challenge. Had to be a little bit of a magician and stretching the rear two spider balls to the max, but it works and nice and tight. I haven't tried to to put the t-tops back on yet to leave the mesh shade in place, but instructions say it should work if you remove the two front spider balls where the top attaches. Does a great job of keeping direct sun out and yet still feel like you're outside. Wind and noise cut down considerably if you have the windows up. Would definitely recommend.

Well I have a 05 wrangler and although it didn’t include this manufacturing year, I got it to work. Happy with the product and not a hard install!

The shade works great. Sturdy and keeps the sun and wind down to a comfortable level. And it looks great and fits perfect, does not interfere with opening and closing my soft top. I’m very happy with this purchase. I wish they had a better video instruction for the JK.

great fit, looks good, but it doesn't fit underneath the hardtop as advertised if you have the front two panels on. the screen is connected to the front brackets with a bungee cord and the roof panel can't click into place if the cord is there. it stays up if you remove the bungee cords but it sags a little bit. still a great product, and i used mine through most of the spring and summer. 9.5/10
