Atwood34570 Replacement Electrode

Q: Does this electrode come with high tension lead and does it fit excalibur 8535-iii

Yes it comes with the ignition wire but the 8535 requires a 3 prong ignitor. A lot of parts for that furnace are being discontinued.

Q: Does it work with the 8520-IV

Yes. It fit my 8535-iv and per the atwood parts list all the IV models use the same electrode so it will fit yours. I replaced the burner also and it ran fine after replacement of these two parts. Wouldn't light before, was trying 3 time and then error code.

Q: How hard is this to install?

It's not hard to install but is hard getting to it. I have a jaycoa travel trailor and had to pull the furnace out of that little hole and you have to dismantle furnace box to replace.igniter.I would replace the sail switch too.
