Two stars deducted because the 2-panel set I received was obviously a previous return. It was missing the user operation sheet and the double-sided mounting stickers were already attached, which I had to remove before it could be mounted. All this made initial installation and use more cumbersome than it should have been. Also, the optional metal brackets do not precisely fit on the fixture unless the tabs are bent outward slightly with pliers beforehand. The good news: it's installed and appears to work as advertised.

3 out of 4 of these lights worked for me. The one failure started turning on and off erratically after 3 months of low usage. Trouble shooting pointed toward the power supply/converter. Bobcat changed its power supply supplier (changed from white to black). Bobcat was kind enough to send me a black converter, but it was not compatible with the light that originally came with a white power supply, nor would it work with my newer lights that came with the black version of the power supply. Then, I trouble shot the light with another white power supply, and it was not working well either - which I attributed to the socket into which the power supply is inserted. I didn't bother seeking customer service, because I feel they sent me a non-functioning solution.

I bought this and installed in a utility room, and from the package one of the light bars did not work. I tried several different configurations. I emailed the supplier and they sent me one replacement. It too did not work. I think its a problem with the photo eye, won't detect motion. The one that works is great, and adequate so I will settle with it for now.

Lightweight, thin, bright light are all pluses. We wanted the black cord and plug, so this product was ideal.Mounting brackets need to be adjusted before installation. My package only has 3 screws, but actually worked well to install with one screw in each bracket anyway. Bend out brackets a cut and make sure they align with the channels before installing the brackets. Otherwise seems to work as advertised after a week of use.

Replacement for some under cabinet fluorescent with hard to find switches. Love it. Do trigger both on and off accidentally just reaching for things. Could probably tweak the locations and minimize that, but it isn't that big a deal.

This light is great! I was able to install it myself. I do wish that there was wire clips to hold up the wire under the cabinet. What I like about this light is how bright it is, but, you can hold your hand under it & it dims. Wave your hand & it's off, wave it again & it's on. Also, for your convenance, you can plug it in at either end of the light strip. It's so thin that you can't see it under the cabinet.

I used one to light up my sink area and the other on the other side of cabinet and it did a great job of lighting everything up. I do like the feature if you hold your hand under the eye, that the light will dim. A really nice plus of these lights.

Easy to install and turn on with a wave of the hand. Perfect for under a single cabinet.
