What a fun little thing to add to a card. A fun surprise for all ages.

A surprising addition to greeting cards and other opportunities where a Flying Butterfly is not expected but certainly appreciated... that is, there is the potential for appreciation... but only after the effects of fight, flight, freeze, fainting, or the spontaneous formation of another word beginning with the letter "F," hastily and irrevocably ensues from the recipient's mouth. Good performance haphazardly executed based upon prankster's gut-instinct, out-of-the-bag. Better performance arises from following printed directions. Best performance follows directions, conscientious rehearsal with post-flight debrief and necessary flight-path corrections, paired with meaningful/memorable context, further enhanced with this colorful, self-propelled, well-designed, flying projectile. Success is ultimately confirmed by the unsuspecting recipient/bystander response consisting of unscripted spontaneous utterances sure to create an opportunity for appreciative accolades, adventure, amusement, amazement, astonishment or... admonishment! Could that "F" word be... Fun? ;-)

This thing is pretty cool. I've rated it five stars based on the product itself, but to be honest it's not worth the price. It is a cheaply made bit of plastic and a rubber band. It does exactly what it's supposed to, but I'd expect to see this at a price closer to $1 than to $7.

The media could not be loaded.  I am pleased by the service so far. I was gifted a Magic Pen, as well as a second butterfly with my purchase of the one!As my video shows, it works fairly well, and is in pretty good condition. My plan is to hide BOTH butterflies in my best friend’s gifts (she HATES butterflies!). I’m seriously praying that I can rig them to go off correctly! I will update this after Christmas 😂

Cute idea, but we were very disappointed at how poorly it actually flew. Plus, the plastic is VERY thin, so it broke after only about 2 uses. I would not recommend this for a gift, since it is very cheap looking (rubber band and thin plastic rods). But, for a fun, short-term toy for a child, it might be fun. I bought 2 of these, and had planned on giving one to my niece for her birthday, but decided against this, since it is so cheaply made.

This product came well packaged and was very clever in detail. I tried it out and it worked like a charm. I am taking this as a white elephant gift this week and i can't wait to see the reaction!

This is a great little prank to include in a greeting card, to give your loved ones a little jolt.I'm the prankster of my circles of friends, and I purchased this to put in my best friend's Christmas card.It worked like a champ, and he turned white when it flew out of the card.I'm confident that I'm going to get some more for other friends.Fun little butterfly. Overall, it brings smiles.

They aren't kidding about spinning it 25 times (or more) but it does go four or five feet and will startle anyone reading it. I intend to put a few of these in textbooks and wait for my students to find them (I'm one of THOSE teachers). I wish it had been in a stiff package but the plastic (not wood) it's made of will flex w/out breaking during shipping. Pay attention to which way you spin it. The "wings" are bent to provide a much better response in one direction. If you're getting a bad reaction...wind it up the other way and make sure it's wound tight! FUN toy. I wasn't expected a 20 ft flight, so the four or five feet of frantic fluttering is just fine for me!*UPDATE: we put in a stronger rubber band and this thing LAUNCHED. Made many students and fellow teachers shriek!!!

Cute little butterfly prank. Easy to wind up and stick in a box or card. You can replace the rubber band easily if it breaks.
