Hydro Globes Mini Automatic Watering Bulbs, 2 Piece Deluxe Set

These have lasted a long time. They are a little bit of a pain to fill because dirt gets stuck in them, but you just have to be patient. They're definitely worth it because they look beautiful among my plants. I leave them in and only fill them if I'm going on a trip.

They work very well!! We have several potted plants and herbs on our covered patio outside. We often would forget to water them or check on them and in the south florida heat they would quickly wither and die. So, when we were going to be out of town for a few days, I knew the plants would never make it on their own so I ordered several of these. They work perfectly!! I'm still using them on a regular basis, and even ordered a few more for other plants. They are easy to use, just fill them and shove them into the soil. Monitor them so you can fill them when they are empty again.

I thought these bulbs would be smaller, hence "mini", for my really small desk plants. I cant put this in my desk plant because it's so heavy that it makes my plant topple over.

First, let me admit— I am a terrible plant mom. I had two dying house plants that desperately needed to be brought back to life. I either over-watered or under-watered and I could not, find a happy medium. I bought these as a last resort to resurrecting my sad, withering plants. It didn’t take more than a few days after popping in one of these bad boys for the plants to perk up! It’s been a couple of weeks and my plants are full of life!

This product did not work! I used as per the instructions and reviews in medium sized outdoor flower pots. When I first planted these in the soil, they did not seem like they were emptying quickly (which is the whole purpose). However, after coming back home from my 3 day business trip all the flowers were completely dead! I am assuming the globes emptied out all at once at some point. Other than looking pretty, they serve no other purpose what so ever. If you are looking to keep your plants alive, don't waste your money on these! Already returned mine.

These hydro globes are perfect for self-watering for a few days...maybe up to a week. They're attractive and keep my plants from dying while I'm out of town.

Works pretty well if the neck is big enough. One of them had a very thin neck and it's very hard to fill with water. You have to run the water in a slow thin stream to get any water in the item. I also don't like how much the dirt can end up going into the bulb when you refill, not very pretty.

Both of the bulbs arrived with cracks or holes in them. I decided to still use them because even if they were leaking, they were watering my plants... I filled up one bulb and placed it inside my planter no problem, the second one, that didn't have any real significant damage shattered into pieces as I was gently placing it into my planter. It shattered so suddenly and so sharply in my hand that I required stitches in my thumb. Still working out a return because I obviously can't return broken glass in the mail.If you buy this product be careful, they're cheaply made.
