These were used with 500ml urine collection bag for day use. Able to spread the slots in the top and bottom of the bag to minimize gathering of bag. Helps to keep bag in place once secured. Large enough strap to stay where placed on upper and lower leg. Has a silicone type material to help hold in place. Comfortable to wear all day. Able to cut excess material off to allow easier closure and secure on leg. Much better than the typical leg bands provided to keep bag on leg. Bought a second set to use as needed.

Works great! What a relief to have found this. The skinny little band that comes with the leg bags had to be tightened too tight in order to work. This product is wide and comfortable. It comes with a non slip material inside the band that works great at keeping it in place.

The straps are high quality, however, they tend to slip. A public service tip: I have found another solution that might work well for you. I am using a 2-inch self-wrapping bandage with some tape. So far this solution is holding up well and inspiring confidence.

Very simple, as a person relying on catheters for 6 years, I've had my ups and downs with straps for my catheter leg bags. Most come with cheap, cheesy garbage straps that use those frustrating little buttons that fly away at inconvenient times. For years, I used elastic straps from some Covidien bags I'd received. The bags used buttons that would eventually rip the eyes out of the bags. But they were the best I had. I saw these on Amazon, and decided to take a chance. They are the solution I've been seeking. The elastic band wears comfortably, and stays in place. The velcro is aggressive and holds the strap on the leg firmly, and the elastic flexes nicely as you move. The silicone beads keep the strap from sliding down. Then, the bag straps are also velcro, and hold the bag securely without tearing the eyes out. Huge thumbs up, here! They are washable, but I recommend air drying them, as using heat will break down the elastic over time. I wear my bag just below the knee, a one-liter model, and everything stays in place. I haven't tried application on the thigh, so I don't know how well it would wear, there. But if you wear leg bags, I highly recommend these. While in the hospital, recently, I showed these to my nurses, and they remarked that they were the best they'd seen for leg bags, too. And, since I have a stilted gait from being disabled, having a bag that stays in place with my crazy walk, it's definitely a bonus.

I am new to the process of a Foley catheter but realized very quickly that you must find ways to make the leg bag as comfortable as possible or it will drive you crazy. The narrow elastic bands with either Velcro or the awkward button fasteners were always bunching up where they threaded through and rolled up and slipped down badly! These bands are an INCREDIBLE improvement! The main wide strap can be fitted to your leg at top and bottom (you can trim to the length you need) so they don’t slide, roll or pinch and then you attach the bag to the second set of narrow blue Velcro fasteners and it holds the bag flat up next to your leg very comfortably! The difference in getting through the day comfortably is amazing.

Generally these work great, but the stitching and glue on one (out of eight total) blue velcro strips detached from the band, making one out of four bands useless after only two uses. It can be reglued and restitched of course but who has time. Otherwise they hold well -- almost too well, and are relatively comfortable without bothering sensitive skin. I wash in the washing machine but air-dry.

I bought these for my 88 year old dad, who wears a leg bag. These are perfect! Just enough of a grip on the back side so they don't slide down his leg. Strong Velcro, that keeps everything in place. And the elastic is the right length for thick or thin legs. The small blue tabs are a perfect fit to thread thru leg bag holes. He even uses one at night to keep his overnight drain bag tube in place. Very soft on fragile skin and these are very well made. I wished I'd have found these years ago.
