This stuff just works-- I have a hole in my articular knee cartilage (the part on the surface of the bone) and I'm also a masters athlete. I had been using the regular collagen (from Costco) but it was not helping with the deep knee pain and swelling I would get after a hike or run or bike ride, so I had to stop all these activities :-( My doc told me to try this, and said most collagen is Type I & III which works great for skin/ nails/ hair/ connective tissue, but NOT for the heavy cartilage in my knee. She said I needed Type II collagen, and preferably the patented form that had been proven to work in clinical trials-- particularly the FORTIGEL and the Mobilee that this product has. There are only a few collagen formulations that have these particular types, and this was one of them from a high quality brand. The powder mixes very easily into water, and doesn't smell or taste bad (there is a slight smell, but for me it's worth getting my knee back!) My doc said it might take 3-4 months of regular use before I saw improvement, but I could tell there was a difference in about a month and now am able to bike and hike again. Yes, my knee still hurts afterwards, but it's more of an annoyance and it doesn't swell up any more. And just as when I was using the regular collagen, my skin and nails are still strong. This is not inexpensive to use, but it is 3rd party tested and totally worth it for me.

For the past year or so I have been taking Designs for Healths Whole Body Collagen, so when I saw that Pure TheraPro launched a new collagen into their line which is almost identical, but for LESS money ($6 less) I didn’t hesitate to make the switch. Not only does the TrioActive Collagen + contain the same three clinically backed collagens, it also includes Hyaluronic Acid (Mobilee) and NutraC which add to the benefits of this already perfect trio :) I love that it’s unflavored with a mild taste , dissolves well, no digestive issues. I like to mix it in my morning greens or later in the day with my electrolytes which makes it taste like a creamsicle, yum! I am in my mid 40’s and sadly our natural collagen production slows down, so supplementation is the best and really the only option to stay looking and feeling young. Of course I love the benefits of looking younger, but I also take this to help with bone and joint health as well. What I can say, my hair and nails grow like crazy, wrinkles are lessoning, cellulite is pretty much gone and overall my body feels and looks younger. Bravo Pure Thera!!! I suffer from knee and hip joint issues and have tried collagen supplements in the past with no noticeable improvements. I started researching all of the different collagen types and stumbled across the clinical info for the collagen types used in this supplement, specifically Fortigel. I wanted patented products that actually had some trial data behind them. It's nice that it includes Mobilee and Pureway-C as well, both important for collegen effectiveness. It seems TheraPro did their research and includes a well rounded product that includes things other supplements are missing. I've been on it about 2 months now and can tell a difference. I've slowly seen an improvement in how my joints feel. I no longer have knee or shoulder joint pain. I'm a guy so I don't really care baout skin and nail health\growth, but I see a difference there too. I'm going to continue to take it as long as they don't change their formula. Yes it is expensive, but it actually seems to work.

The product has zero taste (which is good) I add it to cottage cheese or yogurt and once mixed, there is no grit or added flavor. But check your scoop size. 12.5 grams is about 3 teaspoons. My first scoop (on the right of the photo) was also too large - but closer. I measured out 3 teaspoons and marked the amount. My second order, the new scoop was even larger. Just double check your scoop and mark accordingly. 👍

This is worked well for me. I have been using this for about two years and was diagnosed with osteoporosis due to being on prednisone for over two years. With this product, vitamin K and calcium supplements, I no longer have osteoporosis. I put it in my coffee in the morning, it dissolves well & doesn’t have an off taste.

AAA+++ I've been using for almost three months now and feel I can tell a difference in skin and joints. I have started using it twice a day and am just beginning to track my bone density using a scale that tracks multiple health points. I'll update if/when I see a difference. The body has its own priorities on where it will use needed nutrients. You can put this in any beverage that is NOT hot. You can also add it to yogurt. To me the mixing instructions are spot-on. Add the product to an empty glass, then add water slowly while you stir. Seems to me of the similar products that this one stirs in the best. Recommend.

I can’t really review the product because I’ve only been using it for 30 days…the reason is because of a bone density scan I had and I read an article from WebMD that collagen with fortibone and verisol will help strengthen bone density. We will see next year when I have another bone density scan…the only con right now is it’s hard to mix completely with a cold beverage…

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I am on my second order and will continue. I changed from Sparkle because this one has a good amount of protein plus the other main ingredients. I havent seen or felt any changes but its too soon to judge. It is really pricey, and I am on a fix income because I am retired, so hopefully it stays at this price because I am investing in this in hopes that it truly delivers the benefits. I take it in my black cup of coffee and I do not taste anything at all.
