Exciting Adventure
Book 2 is even more fun than book 1 as we have got to know more of our favourite insatiable barbarian as he battles to save his Harem of princesses. As the magic grows so does the danger and the number of enemies they shall face so using more than his muscles to gain more help gives extra spice for the story and more drama.Great exotic read

Lovely princesses
Great book, love the characters. A good follow up to Barbarian Outcast. I like the slow harem build and the slowly developing plot is intriguing. Looking forward to book 3.

Too much back story
If you're a proponent of the "show, don't tell" mindset, you'll probably struggle with this book. Too much back story, way too much narrative, it feels like not a lot happens. Sometimes a comment is followed by paragraphs and pages of back story, it simply feels too cumbersome.I felt this with the first book, and thought I'd see if this sequel was any better, but found myself just skipping pages at a time and wishing for the pace to move along.

Great book 2
I'd like to start off with saying how glad I am that Aaron Crash wrote a complete series that was not too short and not continued endlessly until the story just got worn out and folks quit buying it. I started with American Dragons, which is a great series. After a quick stop at his unfinished and so far unrelated Son of Fire series (but which nevertheless takes place on the same world), I hopped over here. This is hands down his best series yet. I had an exchange with the author on his Patreon page, and he referred to these three series as the "classic Crash experience." Each can be read separately, but there are linkages amongst them and I recommend reading them in the order I'm going through them.Back to the book, it's a good second in the series. More secrets are slowly making themselves known, the larger arc of the series' plot is starting to take shape, and characters are developing nicely. Highly recommended!

Another great story.
I like how this story progresses “naturally”. No one jumps into bed in the first paragraph, professing their undying love for each other. It is smooth, subtle and natural. Building trust and commitment.

Awesome
If you're looking into reading this one then that's because you've already read the first one. I guess the only thing you're curious about is whether or not it's a good read and the greatness continues oh, and I can safely say it does. Very awesome continuation and I can tell you that the Intrigue is very well done. I like to try to figure things out before I know for sure and I can safely say that it caught me a bit by surprise but I definitely enjoyed the way it kept me guessing. I also liked it the Intrigue in the action wasn't too over-the-top and repetitive. The character and plot development is very well done. Looking forward to reading the next book.
