Definitely helps!
Initially it was a little distracting, but as the kids quickly adjusted to them, they seemed more focused and patient. My only complaint was that they started to roll downward on the chair legs as they were played with. Also, students needed reminders to NOT put their feet inside the bands as it always pulled their shoes off and caused more distraction. I may try putting them on differently next year to see if there's a difference. Overall, definitely satisfied!

They're okay...
I was so excited to order these for my class. Especially at this price point, I was able to provide this to all students, teachers know sometimes that is easier. This works for some of my students but fails miserably for others. Their bands are constantly rolling down and making distracting noises. It has become part of my day to tell my class "okay everyone, fix your bands!"They also get very dusty and start to look gross. For about a dollar a student- they are all right. One of the cheapest adaptations you could find.

Amazing until they’re not :/
Ordered these in the beginning of December and they were a HIT with my 6th graders. They LOVED them and told me multiple times it helps them focus. They treated them with respect but were used for 6 45 minute periods every single week day. By the end of April, I had one snapping every day. It is now the middle of May and we only have about half left. Disappointing that they only seem to last 4-5 months before wearing down.

Great idea, but didn't work for my classroom
I really wanted these to work and was so excited to get them. Within an hour of putting them on chairs, one was ripped. By the end of the day, I found holes in 3 other bands. My students are really, really active, and despite going over do's/don'ts of the new bands for our chairs, kids were like trying to run a marathon 5,000 with these thingies, or were fighting over being able to use them. I had no clue they would cause such a positive reaction to the point of obliteration within hours. So, they would definitely work with certain classrooms! And keep in mind they are just giant, thick rubber bands that if they end up rolling over itself, and then with some aggressive kicking, could put a hole in your brand new band.

I have recommended these to EVERYONE in my building
I ordered one pack for my classroom and my kiddos are so excited! I should have gotten 2 more packs, so all kiddos can have one! I was impressed by how often they use them to keep their feet busy while they work! I have recommended these to EVERYONE in my building! They were so easy to put on and the kids can fix them if they need to without any help! So far they have held up great with the constant use!

Good for Classrooms
Overall, these served their purpose. I had a few of them break soon after I got them. For the price though, they are not too much to replace.

Overall, I like these. My only complaint is that some have broken quickly. I bought 36 and have put them on all of the chairs in my classroom. I just finished the second week of school and already have had 3 break.

Good investment for students who need to move!
These are great for students who fidget a lot or tap their feet. I did have to discuss the use before hand with those students, because these are NOT a silent tool! They can be very loud and disruptive if the kids do not use them appropriately. Just imagine snapping a very large rubber band over and over again. Once they understood how they were able to use them, we almost never hear them.
