Leprekald Grilling-Don't Buy Junk-Buy Quality! Get a BAMP Light- LED Grill Light-Battery Powered Portable BBQ Light w/Built in Bottle Opener

This thing is ok. First, it is huge, and really bright. Definitely articulates where you want it. Really hard to attach to things using clamp, especially round things, not quick at all. Would be great if it was waterproof so I could just leave it on the grill, but annoying for something that has to be attached and de-attached every time you use it. Bottle opener is useless for sure on anything but a flat table or board, the entire thing just spins around. I'd pay more for a watertight version with a thinner neck.

this "lamp" is actually just a plastic clamp with tin overlays, an actually nice/robust articulating piece for the neck with a 2-dollar magnetic LED light stuck onto the top in a plastic bracket. the LED is reasonably bright, it has about 16 tiny leds all haphazardly glued together in the center and it will run for about 45 minutes to an hour before it becomes too dim to make any difference. the clamp is really the most pitiful excuse i think i've ever bought. if you tighten it up enough to make the lamp steady enough that it won't fall over under it's own 1/4 pound weight, you'll risk destroying it. this thing shouldn't be sold for anything over 10 dollars; and i wouldn't pay even that for it, had i seen the JUNK anywhere but in a tiny photo on the web. the title of this product is a far cry more effective than the product itself. or maybe the sarcasm just went over my head. also, the little rubber pieces that have no business being glued onto the plastic clamp came off the very first time i tightened it up on something. you got me. pretty funny.

This is a sturdy, well-built light suitable for use on any grill. Although the product description indicates that it is waterproof, the removable light is not - only the base and flexible arm are waterproof. It is well constructed of a durable plastic that is sandwiched between two pieces of aluminum. One other thing that was a bit misleading looking at the photos was it's size. It was surprisingly much bigger than it looks in the photos. The flexible arm is approximately 24" long and the removable light is slightly smaller than a hockey puck. To get a good reference on size, the bottle opener is a standard size, but in the photo looks to be tiny.I will be installing this on a custom-made smoker and will report back on how well it is holding up after its used for a while.

This is the real deal! Sturdy, water resistant, with a powerful lamp it clamped onto my grill shelf and works like a charm. Highly recommended.Follow-Up 4/2020. I wrote the above review when I first received the light 2.5 years ago and I am able to add to it another positive comment. After being outside in harsh Chicago weather for 2.5 years the light batteries started to poop out and I found the tiny screws corroded and impossible to remove to replace the battery. Folks, these people stand behind their product. When I couldn't find a replacement on line I contacted the company and they were immediately responsive and sent me a new light even though it was my fault for leaving the light unprotected in the elements. Won't happen again but I will certainly not hesitate to buy a Leprekald product when the need/opportunity presents itself in the future. Again, highly recommended!

Just buy it! The clamp system on this is strong, fits virtually anywhere on the grill and is easy to use. I usually clamp it on one of the side tables or the handle and it takes about 10 seconds. The light is very intense (cuts through smoke) and casts out plenty of light for my whole grill surface. The 24" neck is long enough to position directly over the grilling surface and the grill lid easily passes under it to open and close so the light is evenly distributed and not in my line of sight or in the way of the lid. The adjustable neck piece is the best design I've seen in this type of light. I have had lights that would eventually droop down from its set position and I would have to keep moving it. This thing stays where you put it even mounting it to the grill lid handle and opening and closing the lid. The neck is also coated in a heavy flexible plastic so no worry about water getting inside and rusting. The light head itself is removable and hockey puck shaped with a built in retractable hook. This part can be slipped out and used anywhere you can hook it. The applications for this light are endless. I also clamp this to my work bench to work on small things that require additional light. I'm in the north and at this writing it is winter but I am looking forward to being able to sit outside and read after dark on summer nights with this clamped on my outdoor chairs.I could go on and on but if you are looking for an extremely well built, well thought out, flexible multi-use light, I would not hesitate to recommend this one. Heck, this thing even has a bottle opener. Clearly designed by a brother bbq'er.

Wanted a lamp with a extra long neck so I could put the light exactly where needed, but also, so I can easily and quickly move it out of the way when the time came for removing the food from the grill. I have a BBQ Dragon shelf on my Weber kettle and the clamp locks on to it very securely.I also like that you can remove the light "puck" and use it as a flashlight if needed. The light itself is plenty bright enough, even when there is a lot of smoke. This product is very well made and I expect it to provide many years of service. BBQ tastes better in the dark...
