I thought this would be the perfect car charger/mount for my Galaxy S8+, but after just one day, the USB port stopped working consistently. The cable wiggles around so much in the port that it disconnects and reconnects with every little bump in the road, causing my phone to pop in and out of the charge state.I ended up buying a USB-C cable and plugging my phone in every time I get in the car. Something I was trying to avoid by purchasing this. I didn't want to stress the connector on the phone, so essentially this is a mount without charge capability now as the inductive charger is virtually useless.

I don't love this charger as much as I wanted to. It is convenient to be able to just drop my phone in the cradle when I drive and have it charge without having to connect wires. It is also a great price compared to other wireless car chargers that I have seen on the market. I have 2 issues with this charger which keep me from loving it.The first is that the support arm does not seem to be able to fully support the weight of my phone in its case while I am driving around. The screen seems to shift around which can be annoying while driving and trying to look at the display for navigation.The second issue is that it seems to have an issue charging when it is hot outside. I have noticed that when I drive during the day, the phone begin to go back and forth between "charging" and a message saying that "Wireless charging is paused". The phone and cradle will feel warm to the touch so I assume this is occurring because of the heat in South Florida but it becomes annoying when the phone is beeping every few seconds as it flips back and forth. I haven't noticed the issue occur in the evenings which is why I think the issue is due to the heat from the sun down here in Florida.

Excellent suction and charging speed. Was unable to use in car through no fault of this product (Turned out to be too hot in my area, and the phone would overheat). Now i use it on surfaces on and around my desk at home and work to mount the phone in a convenient location. Very stable, the suction is excellent (on non-porous surfaces, as with any suction cup). I've mounted on glass, dry-erase boards, non-textured desk/counter, once you engage the suction cup, it remains mounted indefinitely. Have been using this product for months with no negative experiences.

Not enough power to charge my s8+ I kept it. I like the mount it's very well build. Very sturdy I drive all day. Very bad roads sometimes off roads it hasn't dropped the phone yet

Just got a wireless receiver for my Moto 5g. Put the receiver under a case, and bought 3 different wireless chargers. This one for the car has worked so flawlessly that I had to buy another to use inside.

Worked great for a week then one side of cradle stopped locking in ... now useless cause it will not grip my phone :-(

The set skrew doesn't stay tight. But the concept is a great idea, please fix the set skrew.
