I usually use a wet lube on my chain for race day, but use a dry lube for everyday riding. This is a pretty thick oil and doesn't let the chain spin as free as traditional wet lube. I'm finding plenty of uses for this oil and the thickness adds more weather protection, but it's not race day chain oil.

The first time I lubed my chain I was pretty grossed out by the toxicity of the product (standard dry lube). However the more I learned about bike maintenance, I was convinced that I should be lubing and degreasing my chain regularly. Today I degreased my chain with a standard degreaser and chain tool, the product claimed to be biodegradable but had all sorts of toxicity warnings such that I was afraid to touch it or breathe it in (swore I'd never do that again). Then I applied this fabulous product and just had the smoothest ride!I came back to see if they have a better alternative to chain degreaser, and just bought that too.This product is easy to apply (I like the brush), no horrible toxic smell, and my bike runs like buttah!Update 8/2021: 100mi + in since last lube and it's still working great. Cleaned up nicely with their de-greaser as well and just re-applied. Love it!

This stuff is truly amazing! I can not recommend it enough. I noticed the smoothness of the chain moving from one cog to the next right away. My chain glistens like never before. Happy chain, very happy chain.This is the only bike lube I will be using from this point on. I have shared this with others friends and they too noticed an immediate improvement when changing gears. Also a noise that she was experiencing is now gone after applying. AND it's good for the environment! What more can you ask for.A Big Thank You to Eco Sheep!!!!!

I bought this as I was having a lot of trouble with lubricants on my bicycle chain. Everything I tried seemed to attract dirt and dust and stick it to my chain. This was the worst of the bunch. I completely cleaned my chain, washed it, dried it, and applied this lube. In less than 20 miles of riding the grinding, grating noise from my sprockets became unbearable. When I touched the chain where I had applied this lube, I felt a tacky coating that apparently was great for cleaning dirt and gravel off of the road and onto my chain. I purchased a chain cleaner, some WD-40 chain lube and tried this again. So far the WD-40 has worked great but I've only ridden for about 10 miles so far after applying.

I was thrilled to find an eco-friendly alternative to petroleum for my new hobby! I just bought my Giant road bike and have used only Eco Sheep so I can't compare to a traditional lube. I've used this product twice now and think it's working pretty great; no noises from the drive train, no chain slippage or sticking. All is quiet and I will repurchase and recommend to fellow cyclists!

Quite pleased with this product! My bike is running like new again. Only problem I had was opening it, quite difficult but worth the struggle.
